House ok but TV kept pixilating, and no regular channels. Seating in dining and living area only for 4 , though house sleeps 6. Had a couple of issues which I let hosts know about but weren’t resolved during our stay. Potentially could be a good house to stay.

close to job

House not really set up properly - no wi-fi, flatscreen tv but house doesn't have an aerial so useless. No curtains on the rails in several rooms including downstairs living room where people on the pavement 2 feet away can just look in. Downstairs toilet has no window and light not working so pitch black with door closed and unusable. Fence down at the back, so 'garden' is a wasteland of broken fence/dead clumps of grass and four wheelie bins. Has a dishwasher but no tablets supplied.

All these are easily solved if someone is paying attention, and for the money asked they really should be. Wasn't keen on being charged £10 'administration fee' for providing the deposit they insist on either.

Tried calling 'helpline' during stay but useless and unresponsive. Kept sending me automated, non-specific messages saying they are working on 'the problem' but they manifestly weren't.

I stay in 40 to 50 properties a year travelling for work and this felt very money-grabby to me without enough attention to the product being provided. There are better short term letting companies out there - I'd recommend you use one of those.
