This pretty cottage is tucked away down a pedestrian-only lane, near the beach. Centrally located 4 minutes walk from Brighton train station in the North Laine area; a vibrant area of independent shops, restaurants, pubs & cafes, it has 2 bedrooms (one double, the other 2 x singles or King to suit your preference). There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 4, modern bathroom and petite front garden patio. A homely and cosy house, perfect for couples, friends, families or professionals.
The Space
This charming cottage is centrally situated in Brighton’s vibrant North Laine, a lively area filled with independent shops, restaurants, pubs, and cafes. Full of character, the house features unique decor, vintage pieces, wooden floors, and original beams, making it an ideal retreat for friends, families, or professionals.
The open-plan living and dining area offers a cozy space with a comfortable sofa, opening up to a traditional dining area complete with a wooden table, chairs, and bench seating for up to four guests.
Adjacent to the dining area is the fully equipped kitchen, thoughtfully designed with a blend of traditional and modern styles. With a feature bare brick wall, wooden dresser, navy blue cabinets, and rose gold handles, the kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining. Essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and cooking oil are provided, and there’s a microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine for guest convenience.
On the first floor, you’ll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed under original ceiling beams, a velvet footstool, and a desk or dressing table with a chair. The second bedroom offers a stylish touch of vintage, with two single beds that can be arranged as a king-size bed upon request. This room includes a wall mirror and French doors that flood the space with natural light. Fresh linens and towels are provided for both rooms.
For those needing to work during their stay, the cottage offers a convenient workspace with a desk in the bedroom and a bureau in the lounge, both with Wi-Fi access. There’s also a desk monitor available and a Bluetooth radio to enjoy your favorite tunes.
The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, basin, toilet, and heated towel rail, with guest toiletries and large towels provided for extra comfort.
Outside, a petite front garden patio is set with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink. Additional amenities include board games, access to the secure RCP car park just across the road, and the option to hire a travel cot or high chair for £20 each per stay. Small dogs are also welcome with prior notice.
With everything you could need just steps away, this cottage offers a delightful and convenient base for a memorable Brighton stay.
Neighborhood
The cottage is located in the heart of Brighton's cultural area, in a cute alleyway in the quirky North Laine. Within a short stroll you will find the very best independent shops, restaurants and cafes as well as Brighton's cultural highlights such as the Brighton Dome, Brighton Pavilion & Gardens and the Theatre Royal.
Brighton Palace Pier and the seafront are just a 10 minute walk away and you can easily venture to other areas of the city like Kemptown or Hove. It really is a incredibly amazing location.

If you’re travelling by coach, National Express operates services from London, Heathrow, and other major UK cities, typically arriving at Pool Valley Coach Station, a short walk from the beach and city centre. Driving to Brighton is straightforward, with the A23 linking it directly to London and the M25, while the A27 connects Brighton with towns along the south coast. However, parking in Brighton can be limited, especially in the city centre.
