The Coach House is located in the picturesque village of Belford, close to the Northumberland coast. Located in close proximity to towns and villages in the area, it's in the perfect location for exploring Northumberland and enjoying the many walks on offer right from the front door. If you're looking for impressive scenery, you’ll have the most incredible views surrounding the estate. Sleeping up to ten guests, The Coach House is perfect for family holidays and getaways with friends.
The Space
The Coach House benefits from two welcoming living rooms, along with a children's play room. Perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring Northumberland, all rooms have sofas and beautiful views so you can really relax.
There is a fully equipped kitchen at The Coach House where you can make use of a whole host of modern appliances including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher.
You’ll also find a separate dining room where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones in what is a lovely space.
All five bedrooms at The Coach House can be found on the first floor. There are two super king rooms and three king rooms, all of which have ensuite shower rooms. Each bedroom at The Coach House has plush bedding and premium bed linens so every care has been taken to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. There are beautiful views from the windows so you can wake up to the sea every morning.
A downstairs WC is available at The Coach House, creating some added convenience at this wonderful property.
Outside you’ll find a well-kept patio area with barbeque facilities and outdoor furniture where you can enjoy alfresco meals, morning coffees taking in the views or an evening tipple as the sun goes down.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Getting Around
Middleton Hall Estate is located within 20 minutes’ drive time to beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Wooler, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick. There are excellent travel links as the estate is only a short distance from the A1. Given the rural location of Belford, having a car is essential when staying in the village.
Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station is roughly a 20-minute drive away from Belford. From here, there is direct rail access to locations all across the UK including Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Leeds and London.
There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.
Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
