Decent place but very noisy as it’s above a street with lots of bars. The place didn’t match the photos - no sofa for example.

The flat has a good size to spend some days, with the kitchen included and a washing machine that can be very handy.  The staff was very thoughtful and answered all my doubts, they were fast to give me a reply for everything, so I have nothing to complain about the service.  I was disappointed with several details: the first thing was when we opened the door, there was a terrible smell of smoke, like a strong, lingering smell of cigarettes (it was so bad that it that this smell impregnated all our clothes in our suitcase along the days); and then we realised that the pictures of the advertisement weren't compatible with the reality; it shows that it has a cozy sofa there, and instead of it, there's 2 living room armchairs, the chairs around the table, and the kitchen was looking totally different (but at least in a positive way, because it seemed that it's been a renovation was recently carried out with replacement of the furniture). The table was reeking of a very strange and impregnated smell, and some kitchen itens weren't so clean, so we had to buy some cleaning products to clean everything before using, including the table that I had to clean several times until the horrible smell that was impregnated on it got rid of it. Actually the entire carpet of the flat would need to be cleaned and renewed properly, and unfortunately we couldn't do much about it. The bedroom's window we couldn't open it (at least we couldn't figure out how to do it, we were afraid of doing something that could break it), and the bed really need a new mattress because you can see that it is well worn and you can feel the springs when you lie down on it. The bathroom's forced ventilation appears to need repair as it works poorly when turned on and we also had the impression that some of the smoke smell may be coming through it. The entrance of the street to the flat isn't so nice, with cigarettes and litter on the floor and at night is really dark this part, it would be better with some lights there. Another thing that would be ideal is having a soundproof wall because of the loud songs of the 2 nightclubs in front of it and the other pubs around it.

Location was great.  Noisy at night as directly opposite two night clubs. 

Clean, comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Great location.

Flat itself was good, comfortable, clean.  Poor internet connection and no terrestrial TV channels, so accessing Netflix was frustrating and ultimately impossible. The flat is situated centrally, which is good, but too close to so many bars and night clubs. It was ok on Thursday and Friday nights but impossible to sleep on the Saturday night. We left early. 

It was Ok, we enjoyed Worcester but we wouldn't use this flat again.

Location close to place we were visiting  Noise. It is not advertised as being above a bar open TIL 2 am Stank of cigarettes Awful mattress, no sleep Mouldy grout in shower, you can use detox mould and mildew spray and a scrubbing brush for this!  No hand towel in bathroom, nowhere to put loo roll Freeview  didn’t work Work tops in kitchen need re oiling and walls were dirty, really tatty table in living room g room, dirt on bed blanket it needed a good wash and photos look great but in reality it was not  Would like some refund please

The flat was hard to find down a side alley. Once inside the building it was ok. Be prepared that this flat is directly above a bar which is open all night and very loud. Great location, close to city centre.

There is everything you need in the flat. There is a bedroom, a living room,  the kitchen and the bathroom with all the facilities. Linen and towels, and even coffee and tea are provided. Located right in the city center.  Located on the pubs street, so it's always noisy.  Luckily, we don't care about the noise. There are a lot of steps up and down between the front door and the flat door, so it's not for people who struggle to climb the stairs.

Once inside the flat it was well appointed and comfortable; and convenient for the centre of Worcester - but only on Sunday - Thursday nights (see below). However, the other factors listed below mean that I would never book it again.  There are 3 flights of stairs, 2 up then another down, a total of 48 steps to reach the flat. - not good for my arthritic hips to deal with and I suffered as a result. The flat is sandwiched between 2 pubs and opposite a bierkeller and a cocktail bar with licences until 2/4 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Had either of these facts been stated in the flat's description I would not have booked it. They wrote to tell me that there might be some noise from surrounding pubs, but generally pub noise doesn't mean late night discos into the early hours; and this information only arrived after Booking.com had taken my money with a no cancellation/refund clause because I had to book just before I went as the accomodation I'd booked some months ago was cancelled by the owners at the last moment.  Also, I discovered a leak in the kitchen which meant that I had to move out of the flat mid-stay as the kitchen had to be ripped out to fix the leak. The owners did find me somewhere else to stay but this meant that I lost half a day of my holiday repacking, moving and unpacking again; also the new place, although very nice inside, was not in walking distance of the centre. 

An accomodation nightmare.

It was fully expected and very comfortable, everything we needed,would definitely recommend it  Could do with double glazing windows 

The apartment was really dirty and had not been properly cleaned and smelles like cigarette smoke. The couch was full of stains and carpet with cigarette burns, furthermore the kitchen was not duly cleaned.  Overall a very negative experience from a cleanliness perspective.  The position is ideal as in the center but very noisy at night which is mentioned prior to booking.  I have used guest homes in the past with positive experience, but unfortunately this time round it did not live up to expectation.

Great location, value for money, good facilities and clean.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday are pretty loud but nothing a set of noise cancelling iPods doesn’t sort out.

windows are very old and noise was high specially at night. bathroom has stains and fungus on edges of bath cabin, water tap were not easy to use.

The location is good as it’s near the centre but very noisy because of the bars outside  That we did not have sheets and towels when we arrived

Great little apartment perfect for a couple or solo traveller. Comfy bed and sofa, electric shower and functioning kitchen with washing machine. Great location for shopping and exploring the city. Unfortunately the noise from the bars of a weekend (as stated previously also) is like being out in it. There are also 2 flights of stairs up to the landing then another set down to the entrance of the apartment. I imagine through the week would be quieter as one of the bars is only open at weekends.

het appartement is ruim genoeg. midden in het mooie centrum van Worcester. parkeren zeer dichtbij en betaalbaar  de badkamer zit vol met schimmel er liep zelfs een flinke kakkerlak. de slaap bank is t vies om op te zitten. er was een onderlaken aanwezig maar die paste met geen mogelijkheid erop waarop wij creatief het bed op moesten maken want je wil daar echt niet zo op liggen. grote vlekken in de sier kussen. het bestek was gebruikt terug gelegd de deuren waren te vies om vast te pakken. locatie is geweldig alleen moet je wel weten dat het midden in een straat is met pubs die tot 3 uur snachts luide muziek heeft. het is niet voldoende geïsoleerd dus het leek net of je in de pub lag. 

Prima voor twee nachten maar een goede schoonmaak beurt en opknap beurt zou niet verkeerd zijn!!

Cosy and comfortable.  Stairs might be a problem for some people. The location is fantastic if you want to be at the hub of Worcester and everything is incredibly accessible but can be a little noisy Friday and Saturday. 

Lovely flat. Very clean and in a pleasant location with eateries, nice pubs and coffee shops.

Accommodation was described beautiful and nice and cosy. However, the first thing that I have experienced is the smell of smoke and mold in the house. There were mold in every room of the apartment on the windows and corner. The rooms in the apartment were quite dirty and the smell circulated trough the entire flat D. However the dirt on the carpet was very bad in the flat, outside in the hallway was tremendous and honestly it is a matter of cleaning isn’t it? inhumane conditions and quality. leaks on the wall and ceiling. Most exciting fact is the hole on the ceiling that is included in the price. the deposit is £200 which is definitely too high for the low standards. the price is not worth it even a hostel is nicer and offer a better quality. This is the lowest standard you can ever get. not worth visiting. Irresponsible owner is just for the profit. 

Inhumane conditions low quality standards that might be equalent to homeless rescue apartment. Do not pay for it!

Highly not recommended for weekend stays, we could not sleep until 4 am when the bars shut. Even after considering drunk people were very loud in the street which is super close to our windows. The instructions to find the flat where not super clear. It is not wheelchair accessible and to reach flat D you have to go up a flights of stairs and down a flight so good luck if you have suitcases. The apartment itself was clean with good WiFi connection.

Very clean in a good location, easy access and good communication

For the price this is more or less what I expected. The location is very convenient but also extremely noisy (even on weekdays).  If it's not the cars it's trucks unloading, or city vehicles cleaning, or the pub goers, or the MUSIC STORE IMMEDIATELY BELOW, or (my favourite) the hundreds of gulls that seem to have overtaken Worcester. The flat resembles the pictures but is clearly warn down.  There is a smell of cigarettes despite a No Smoking sign being present. The flat was moderately well equipped though and was an OK place to do work (with noise cancelling headphones). There are plenty of shops nearby and the locals all seem to be super friendly. All in all, this is a good place for sorry stays.

This was a lovely clean and well presented place to stay.  I will say however the noise levels on a weekend are high so if this doesnt bother you then its a cracking place to stay and close to everything we needed.

Great if you’re going out in town as it is quite loud but the facilities and set up is good and communication with management is as well.

Nice studio apartment, great and central location. Lively street with nice pubs, bar and nightclub but never a noise problem. Stayed for a week and had a lovely time.

A very noisy weekend stay! If you're planning going clubbing or just out to the pub then stay here, if not avoid at all costs. There is a beer garden next door, a bar opposite and a nightclub that runs until 4am at the weekend and the noise, music and general boisterous atmosphere can be heard clearly in the flat until this point... And then the club goers descend on the street outside and the noise of a good night had by all, expressed through the ejaculation of vomit, breaking glass and the general merriment that goes hand in hand with anhebriation. Not ideal for a family stay especially as one of the windows wouldn't close and was in a fused open position. After one of the worst nights sleep we have ever had (we've slept better on the Kho San Road in Thailand) we thought we'd motivate the kids with a cartoon however as the WiFi was 'down' (non-existant even trying to find it on our phones) the TV wouldn't work... At all. In a bid to make the most I decided to put a wash on. Travelling with 2 children this was one reason why we booked a flat. The mould on top of the washing machine should have dissuaded me from using it, but despite this, I persevered and was rewarded with it leaking water all over the kitchen floor and a batch of half-laundered dripping wet clothes. Again not ideal for a family stay. The communication was poor when we communicated our discord. We refused to stay the second night of our booking and this was refunded but nothing was given in compensation for the ordeal we had endured and it ruined my husbands birthday. The positives are that the flat is reasonably priced, nicely decorated and well furnished (except for the washing machine!).

This experience has made me never want to use Airbnb again. It’s not that the listing was bad, it’s how the situation was handled. Me and my family couldn’t stay in the flat ( which feels as though it’s located in a basement) due to the extremely high temperature. Yes, it was hot in the UK and there’s no AC in most, not ALL places, but this was another level, and very minimal ventilation. We were there not even 30 minutes before having to leave due to our baby overheating. All I wanted was my money back, and they wouldn’t do it for me. After being told to wait by a member of their staff for the Airbnb resolution center response, i waited, when in reality i could have received 4 days more of my “ 1/2 refund” but waited because she told me i would be happy with their response. A literal scam. I booked 21 days in this flat, and received a $600 refund, when it cost me $3k. They refused to give me a full refund, when it wasn’t a safe condition for us. They will respond and try to make it sound like they were nothing but helpful, but that is not the case  I’ve had to spend another $3k USD for an alternate accommodation. Just disappointing, and I feel that I have been severely taken advantage of. I’ve learned my lesson.

The location is perfect, the flat was clean and cosy. It is very good value for money. However, we were 3 guests and there were only beddings and towels for two so we had to request  extra linen but Joy and Arnie arranged for some to be dropped off on the second day. I really recommend this airbnb!
