A wonderful newly renovated property, Ocean View accommodates up to ten guests across five ensuite bedrooms. Sitting a short stroll from Hornsea seafront, this dog friendly holiday home offers something extra special - with sea views, an enclosed courtyard, and private on-site parking for two cars. This stylish property has been designed to a 5* standard, allowing for a truly comfortable stay.


Property Details

The Space
Upon entering the property through its french doors, you are met with a bright hallway. The ground floor features a spacious living room, large open plan dining and kitchen area, and a bedroom.

The living room features two plush sofas, three armchairs, a large flat screen Smart TV and two coffee tables. The wall pictures and room decor bring a sense of home to the property while the lighting and bright colour scheme adds a modern theme to the space.

The kitchen and dining area is the perfect spot for entertaining. The well thought out space allows guests to cook, eat and socialise in one place. The large wooden dining table is surrounded with ten chairs to ensure all guests are catered for.

Head outside via the kitchen-diner and you’ll find a fully-enclosed courtyard where you can enjoy a spot of fresh sea air during your stay.

The kitchen features an electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Whether you’re staying for a couple of days or a couple of weeks, you will have everything you need for that feeling of home.

The property is home to five bedrooms - one on the ground floor, three on the first floor, and one on the second floor. You will find comfy king size beds in all five bedrooms at Ocean View. Each bedroom is also joined with an ensuite bathroom, three with walk-in showers, and two with bathtubs.

The bed in the second floor room can also be split into two singles upon request.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

With its peaceful Blue Flag beach, quaint promenade and towering Victorian folly, Hornsea is a quintessential British seaside resort. Once well known for its pottery production, the town is now home to Yorkshire‘s largest freshwater lake which boasts over 250 species of birds and plenty of opportunities for sailing and fishing.

With a lovely sandy beach, a busy promenade to stroll along, amusements and plenty of attractions for all the family, the town has retained a pleasant atmosphere. It also has a colourful history of smuggling, however these days shopping has taken over from smuggling as one of Hornsea's favourite pastimes. Explore the town centre's numerous independent shops before relaxing in the cosy tea rooms.

To the southern edge of Hornsea there is also the Hornsea Freeport for discounted high street brands and a selection of attractions.

Getting Around
Hornsea is within a short driving distance of Bridlington, Hull and Driffield so it’s perfectly located for exploring the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The nearest train station is in Arram, ten miles away from Hornsea. The station has regular direct routes to Bridlington, Driffield, Hull, Selby and York.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Hornsea. Hop on the 24 which travels to Hull, or the 25 which has stops in Beverley and local villages.

The house is very spacious, perfect for a full family. Kitchen and living room fit 9 of us in with plenty of room left. The location is also brilliant, literally a 30 second walk from the very clean beach. We came away for a social weekend with friends and were able to do that, it’s a huge bonus that every room has its own bathroom. <br/>Initially took a long time for the house to warm up, the first day and night was very cold and uncomfortable. <br/>I think the house itself is a little tired and could do with some TLC/maintenance. There had been quite a bit of water damage at some time that was visible in most rooms and the sink created a lot of condensation which made the kitchen floor wet at times.<br/>Although it was generally clean, as in no dirty surfaces etc. The place could have done with a good dust to get the dustwebs and dirt from the corners of rooms, windows and blinds etc. <br/>Would possibly come back but this property would be incredible if the above issues were rectified.



Amazing stay, house was great as described, location right on the front but only 10 mins walk to high street. Really peaceful location with a nice pub just over the road right on the sea front. Only issue for us was we chose the house because of the accessible downstairs bedroom but it had a bath with shower would have been better with a step in shower for elderly parents but this is the only issue for us other than this fantastic.

Great house for a large number of guests, all rooms having their own bathroom is a definite bonus. Plenty of crockery, cutlery,glasses, cookware etc. Linen, towels provided as was shampoo, shower gel tablet soap. Lovely sea views from the upstairs rooms and large table in the kitchen to spend meal times together, it’s a real family home. Minus point for me was that it wasn’t up to my standard cleanliness wise, needs attention to detail, for example window panes, sills and bath surrounds and dust on lights, nothing that spoils the stay but paying £200 for cleaning I’d expect cleanliness to be 100%. Would definitely stay again though.

The house is beautiful and just as described. They had had a leak in the kitchen ceiling which still needed repairing but these things happen and cannot be avoided. All the décor was lovely and very well chosen for each room. Don't think this property had been available to rent very long and recently refurbished still with little bits to check and finish and clean., Overlooking those bits it was very clean, modern, with comfortable beds, lovely quality linen, plenty of sofa room and a lovely large table in the kitchen to accommodate everyone.
