The Space
The Ivanhoe Retreat is a lovely property in a popular residential area, just off of the famous and trendy Lark Lane.

Spread across two floors, you have access to an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, one bedroom and a family bathroom.

As you walk in, the door to your left leads to the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Boasting contemporary decor throughout, The Ivanhoe Retreat is beautifully designed with huge sash windows allowing tonnes of natural light, attractive wooden flooring and wooden kitchen cupboards. Perfect for home-cooked meals, the built-in kitchen features all essentials including an integrated fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and more! A washing machine is installed in the kitchen and is free to use for your stay.

Head downstairs to access a clean bathroom fitted with a WC, a wash basin and a bathtub with an overhead shower. The bedroom is located right next to the bathroom and is fitted with one double bed for sleeping two guests and a wardrobe for your clothes. 

The Ivanhoe Retreat sleep up to 4 guests with an addition of a sofa bed in the living room! We welcome couples, business travellers and family stays.

Whilst the living room boasts a lovely view of the neighbourhood, we highly advise parents to supervise their children, as the sash windows are positioned at a low height and can be fully opened.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Situated just a few minutes walk away from two beautiful parks in Liverpool - Princes Park and Sefton Park, you can enjoy a refreshing getaway and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Sefton Park Palm House is also close-by and hosts multiple events throughout the year.

It's less than a 15 minutes drive to the city with a variety of transportation options such as taxi, train, and bus.

The trendy Lark Lane, known for many old and new restaurants, shops, bistros and cafes is only 2 minutes walk away. It's also known for flea markets and pop cafes at The Old Police Station and crafts at Arts 4. Just walk along the street and you'll have some of the best finds!

Getting Around
The nearest train station is St. Michael's Station at Buckland Street which is only a 12-minute walk away. From here you can get into the city centre! There is also a bus stop on Aigburth Road, at the end of Lark Lane.

Taxis and Uber are also comfortable choices on rainy days or if guests prefer a speedy trip to and from town.

Guests have access to the full apartment. Access to the apartment is via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Free on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of the building which is accessible by stairs. The apartment itself consists of two floors.

Other things to note:

• The apartment is located within a residential building, as such this is not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.

• We are unable to host groups of guests under 25 at this property.

• The check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am - unless told otherwise please stick to these times. An unauthorised late check out will incur a charge.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited and will incur a deep cleaning charge upon check out.

• Kindly note that we cannot accept parcels delivered to the apartment’s address and cannot be held responsible for any lost/damaged items. If you do require a parcel to be delivered during your stay, please contact us for our office address.

• Luggage storage is available in the city centre at our main office, this is priced at £5 per bag for the whole day (up until 5 pm) and is located at 8 Gradwell Street, Liverpool L1 4JH.

Lastly, please note, during exceptionally busy periods we may need to gain access to the property to complete maintenance works. This is to keep the property in good order for your stay. We always give 24 hours notice of this unless there is an emergency which needs addressing sooner.
