The Space
In a peaceful seaside village on the North Yorkshire coast, you will find Jackson Court. This recently renovated apartment is a great choice for those looking to explore the local area with family and friends or for those who need a peaceful place to work away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

PARKING AREA
Directly off the main road, you will have private car park access and a shared entrance into the building. The apartment is located on the first floor.

The apartment comprises of a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area.

LIVING AREA
With comfortable leather sofas and a wooden coffee table, you can relax after a day by the sea and catch up on your favourite shows on one of the TV apps.

DINING AREA
The dining table sits in front of a large bay window. The dining table seats six comfortably so it's perfect for enjoying home cooked meals or a takeaway from the local independent eateries.

KITCHEN
The modern, high-gloss kitchen provides everything you need for a stay away from home. Amenities include an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine.

BEDROOM
The bedrooms are neatly designed with calm in mind. The first bedroom features a double bed and matching bedside tables and drawers. The second bedroom is home to two single beds, a bedside table, freestanding wardrobe and a large desk. Each of the beds are dressed in crisp white linens and colourful throws.

BATHROOM
The bathroom is a bright and pristine space with a bathtub and overhead shower, WC and basin.

This apartment is part of a three-apartment complex called Jackson Court, sleeping up to 12 guests. If you are looking to book a stay for a large group you can reserve this apartment, Apartment 3 and Apartment 4 together, and enjoy exclusive use of the building. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Redcar.

The village square is packed with independent businesses, including cafes, pubs, micro pubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach.

The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond.

Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast.

Getting Around
Jackson Court is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.

Firstly, Host & Stay were very responsive, very courteous and very understanding.<br/>But this property was not a pleasant experience - it needs work carrying out on it due to the constant bad smell from the bathroom. The internet was also not working for the first three days either - some of this was out of the owners control, but given the first comment, didn't help make our experience any more pleasant.<br/>When we arrived the flat had not been cleaned properly - there was rubbish under the bed. Also numerous things were broken, including a couple of light fittings in the bedroom and kitchen. The flat is also incredibly poorly stocked - we only had two glasses to start with. Bedding was very poor, and although we received additional pillows, a new duvet for the master bedroom was not forthcoming - we had to borrow a duvet from my parents who live close by.<br/>The flat really needs a reset to get the basics right, and also get rid of the awful bathroom smell.
