It was light, spacious and airy. Good location, easy to access on a late arrival which was handy for us.
The blankets in the lounge/one of the bedrooms were a bit musty smelling.
We applied for a parking permit, and was told that our email was forwarded to the owners but didn’t hear anything else on the subject.
The frying pan has seen better days!
The bathroom tap had orange/rust colour on the faucet where the water comes out - a quick wipe and it went.

This was a stay I had booked for my parent's. They had a lovely time and said the bed was very comfortable. They just wondered why there were no saucepans, and no airer/washing line as there is a washing machine. Other than that, they said it was lovely.

The apartment was central to where we wanted to be. It had nearly everything we needed to live there for 3 weeks. Very clean and tidy.
The main problem with the accommodation was.... the toilet seat had a crack in it, you had to sit on the opposite side to the crack so it didn't nip your cheek, so with this it broke. This was day 1, i sent numerous messages to the property owner and the company it is under, we were there 3 weeks and nobody came to fix it. Very disappointing!!! There was no washing line, so had to buy an airer to put the clothes on. Again i messaged, they said do you want someone to show you where it is? Yes please, buy nobody came. for the first 2 weeks there was no outside bin, us and the upstairs apartment had to leave the rubbish bags out in the back alley. It wasn't a big apartment so for me there was too niknaks, fake plants were not needed. Back garden needed weeding too

The apartment was great value for money, very clean and ideally located for us to explore the North East Coast. We chose here specifically so that we could walk the dog on the beach mornings and evenings as it is just a short walk away.
The parking situation wasn't entirely clear, we asked for a permit to park near the property, which we were assured had been done, although as it is a virtual permit nothing was given in writing to assure us entirely that it was covered. Upon arrival we received instructions that if we had applied for a permit it was valid for Zone E only. The property and surrounding areas appear to be Zone W. We did question this and was told that we must park in Zone E to avoid fines (never did find where Zone E was!) also questioned whether it was a typo but this part wasn't answered and in the end I gave up. At the very far end of the street moving away from the centre of Redcar, there are streets with no parking restrictions, so we parked there instead and did the 5 minute walk, it wasn't a total disaster, just a little inconvenient.

Beds were really comfortable. Property was lovely and clean
We couldn’t cook a meal due to no pans and i don’t think the hob was working as there is no switch to put it on.
We booked this property so we can cook our own meals as my daughter is a CELIAC she has several food intolerances, this made life very difficult for us to eat out and cost us more money than we anticipated. For future references this should be advertised when booking the property.

the flat is well equipped and fully lived up to the advert. the instructions were comprehensive and the WiFi worked well
restaurants were a bit of a walk and the area around the property might be disconcerting for nervous travelers. There was a lot of noise in the street or adjoining properties one night which was disappointing

Very clean and comfortable modern decor ?
Very noisy children from next door lots of banging dogs barking at 2.20 am

Very clean with modern lovely interior.
Nice touches with toiletries for everyone and left milk and some tea and coffee too
Beds extremely comfortable
Great big rainforest shower
The lack of any eating area inside, I’d never let my children eat on the sofa at home and feel it’s an accident waiting to happen with the floors and sofa material.
Not the nicest location. The neighbours attached were loud with dogs barking late in the night (I went with my children) and couldn’t use the outside area due to strong smell of Marijuana from said neighbours.
There could have been more information about the area specifically the way to the beach as we didn’t find it until the last day by chance.
The automatic fan in the bathroom is loud and goes on for a long time. Not ideal when you need the toilet when children are in the bedroom right next door.
Had to call hosts to find out where the pots and pans were! There is a hidden drawer underneath the oven!

Beautifully renovated, absolutely no expense spared. Host & Stay responded to all of my messages super quickly!
Apartment is on the ground floor & the main bedroom window faces the front footpath, was noisy if anybody was outside or walking past.
Only seating for 3 people despite accommodating 4.

The apartment is very comfortable and well appointed. The cleanliness of the apartment is excellent, and the bedrooms are a great size with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed being able to sit outside in the little sheltered courtyard. Good location, within easy walking distance of all facilities. The pre and post communication was very good.
Parking could be an issue for some. No street parking during the day, as a permit is required. There is however a car park located fairly close by, albeit time limited.
The apartment would benefit from a desk or even a dressing table in one of the rooms to enable one to work comfortably and more efficiently.
Unfortunately the dishwasher was not working (still not sure whether it was operator error) however, quickly responded to when we advised on check-out

Lots of positive things about this place but one thing first - There isn’t free off street parking, it’s permit only Mon-Sat. However there are a few long stay car parks nearby that are free all weekend (we parked at Redcar Leisure Centre), and others you can pay for in the week at only £4 a day.

Now the good stuff - this place was so cleans and beautifully decorated! The bedrooms both a good size and both quiet at night.
The kitchen has everything you need. But the living space is small - suitable for four of us for a weekend but wouldn’t want to be reliant on cooking and eating here as no dining table.

Would definitely stay for weekends again - lovely walks to the nearby towns of Marske and Saltburn, and we liked visiting Rita’s Pantry micro pub.

Superb flat, new, clean, bright, airy and surprisingly spacious, photos don’t do the master bedroom justice with its lovely high ceiling and huge bed - wouldn’t be out of place in a 5 star hotel. Clearly a lot of love and thought has gone in to the property. The hosts thought of everything we might have needed - even milk in the fridge and dish washer tablets (although a larger clothes airer would be really handy for guests in the summer washing beach towels). The location couldn’t be better. 2 roads up from the beautiful sandy beaches and a five minute walk to all the conveniences (and ice cream parlours!) in town. We enjoyed visiting the local leisure centre, only a ten minute walk with a brilliant kids pool, and the museum and gardens at Kirkleatham. Also a short drive to Saltburn with its lovely shops, coastline and pier. We’ve had a fantastic holiday, and would love to come for longer next time, as there is much more to do in the area than we realised. Hopefully this brilliant flat will have availability!
There were a few confusing messages after booking from the administrators about deposit and 3rd party verification (which although offered £500 insurance it was at an extra £35).
Parking outside is permit holders only and although this was sorted straight away for us it would have been nice to have been arranged before the stay.

Nice location, nice property and a nice stay. Parking is very very tricky though as all the nearby roads are “permit holders” only during the week; there is a (pay) car park 1/4 mile away. Layout is a little enigmatic; the front bedroom is lovely, clean and huge and the back bedroom is at the back of the flat, but the only communal space is a 3 person sofa in the kitchen: would be difficult for 2 couples or a family to all sit together (perhaps put a sofa bed in the front room and use that as the living room?). Also…SUPERHOG (their capitals, not mine!). Nightmarish emails and texts from them asking me to verify my identity by sending them copies of my passport/driving licence. Who are they and why does the letting company insist on using them? I refused, and it was fine, but the idea of being asked to give my personal details to some anonymous third party is frightening.

We’re loved our stay at the Dunes. It’s a beautifully decorated and furnished home and felt like such a treat. We loved the shower and the super king bed was epic. It was spotless and smelled clean. We loved it.
