Pictures make the place look really good however was told there was a dryer in there under the advert. Clearly there was no dryer when I got to the property the bedding was dirty so it was the towels. I asked for them to be replaced then when the new stuff turned up that was also dirty and smelt too which charge £25 for breakages. However on arrival loads of stuff was broken there wouldn’t recommend staying here better elsewhere. Also where you party vehicle underneath the apartments, there’s no lighting so hard to see the key box And loads of rubbish left everywhere from Previous guest in the car park would avoid at all cost and then the Internet stopped working. I stayed in apartment nine

Accommodation is spacious.

First time I stayed like this accommodation and the stay was not comfortable for me . Due to unavailability of basic things and unclean areas such as laundry bag, bed sheet is not clean, not provided basic kitchen things (frying pan, basic things like salt, tea bag or coffee powder, no waste bin on toilet, no kitchen towel, only provide 2 towels for 3 number family for 3 night stay etc..).when I ask the house owner regarding the basic things which I need to stay at that accommodation , she stated that "they are self catering apartment we don't provide, that I am afraid sorry".
I booked this accomodation via under host and stay . After all payments they will charge extra 25£ . This thing only they tell you 24 hours before stay. If you want to get the address you need to pay that 25 £ . When you contact them with this issue they will tell you money will be refundable but don't expect they will not refund.

I already send a mail complaint mail regarding this issue . Waiting for the reply (even though it's day 10).

Great location for walks on the beach and along the Cleveland Way.

The apartment was abysmally dirty and absolutely stank of damp throughout - evidently carpets "cleaned" incorrectly. Host and Stay assured me this would be dealt with regarding a refund (we left immediately, after informing Sarah the general manager of the apartments) and despite making platitudes on public sites, they were supposed to "conclude" by 5th September and they have not contacted me. Note how their site does not allow reviews? They are scammers. Don't make the mistake we did. We have started a claim.

The property amenities the location and the sooo comfy beds the hosts were very helpfull

The WiFi was not available untill the evening before we returned and there was a plug issue in the bathroom which wasn't sorted at all by the plumbers. The hosts were not to blame for this as it was out of there hands and laid solely with BT and the plumbers

N/A

Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay in Bridge House Court apartments due to it being cancelled on the morning we were travelling.
We were moved to an apartment in Loftus, which was not ideal as it was on a busy main road, with road works and constant traffic.
My son struggled to sleep at night with the noise.
Parking is not the best, and the area is quite run down and nothing like the picturesque village of Skinninggrove.
Had to speak to three different people to actually find out what was going on and escalated a complaint for some kind of refund but never heard anything back.
We were disappointed as we had a tough year as a family and had been looking forward to a nice and relaxing holiday.
Will attach photos for comparison. The first one was where we were meant to be staying. The rest are where we ended up staying in a market town and not a village, Loftus doesn't even compare.

Quiet place, nice apartment.

Thermostatic shower so the thing didn’t boil skin off only to be freezing moments later.
The shower rail to have been secured to the wall.
The upstairs toilet to not leak.
The bath over flow to have been connected.
The downstairs toilet light to have worked.

We arrived at apartment 10 on Monday 14th August 2023 to a horrific and strong smell of damp. It appears that the carpets have been cleaned and not dried properly as it permeates the entire apartment. The apartment is pet-friendly which may explain this. I opened the windows to see if the smell would dissipate and attempted to turn on the television - the aerial didn't work and the internet was also not connecting. We called Sarah (general manager) and explained about the awful smell and was offered apartment 12 which we were grateful for. We relocated to apartment 12 which has the same awful mouldy damp smell (the cleaners should not have left the apartments smelling like that) and this television only ran from the internet which was again not working. This apartment was an attic apartment and the windows would only open an inch. Sarah answered the phone after several attempts to call (she obviously anticipated what we were going to say) and she apologised about the smell and said that they don't know what was happening with the internet. Due to the fact that the apartment is in the middle of a housing estate we were reliant on the TV for evening entertainment. We explained that the smell is unbearable (and can't be healthy, either) and that we were leaving (a 4 hour drive home so the decision was not taken lightly) and would like a refund as neither apartments were fit to be rented or used. We were told that head office would be in touch. Guess what? They weren't. Shocking, I know. My husband sent an email today and for an almost immediate reply stating that the apartment had been used and there was sand in the bath! They had spent 2 days thinking up an excuse not to refund and this is what they came up with. CCTV would back that up so their total lies are ridiculous - I bet they won't check though. They are scammers, which is why they have limited reviews - go and check. Avoid this place and spend your money on a letting which is fit for use. I advise they get new cleaners if there was sand in the bath and perhaps some new carpets - absolutely scruffy! It's the first time we've ever walked out of a holiday let.

Great place could not fault the property or the location

Far too many emails when booking couldn't find the email with key code 1.5 hours to get it sorted

Good location, adequate facilities and comfortable and clean.

No hot water. This wasn't resolved in our stay, however we were given access to a different apartment so were able to wash. The kitchen tap is very loose. There could be more crockery

HIDDEN FEES
if you go to book this porperty be aware there is either a substantial deposit (we were asked for 250 for two nights which was more than the cost of the stay itself) or a £25 non refundable damage waiver to pay. This means the cost listed on airbnb is not the actual cost you will end up paying. This is listed at the bottom of house rules where you can easily miss it.
I thought this on top of the original price was massively expensive for what is a basic appartment.
Good points were, it was spacious and had most things like toaster, kettle, towels, hairdryer. Was very close to the beach.. there was a bath and shower, bed was comfortable. TVs in the living room+bedroom.
Some downsides other than the price were the apprtment was bland and badly built, it creaked when you moved and you could hear every move the people in the other apartments and hallway made. No smart TV. No blackout/thin curtains, shower was very stiff, nowhere to hang wet towels, no ventilation in bathroom
