Clean and modern flat. Close to the beach.<br/><br/>Bed slats kept falling off so uncomfortable.nights sleep. Can tell.someine has triend to fix it before as had nails in the slats. A new bed would be better. Didn't think it was safe for the flat key to be the same as the key for front door of property as other people had the same key. The entrance area to the building was horrible, scruffy, dirty and very off putting. TV kept going offline with poor Internet problems.

The property was great. Very close to the beach which was fantastic, easy check in. Very basic cooking equipment but it was fine. <br/>I didn’t realise this property was through a company and not an individual so it all felt less personal compared to other air bnbs I have stayed at. <br/>Also make sure to read the small print. There is an additional fee which we missed. It says it’s a ‘deposit’ for breakages but it’s not. You have no choice to pay and it’s an extra fee. <br/>Overall it was good value and Saltburn is very lovely.

Very good location and spacious accommodation<br/><br/>Quite dirty and dusty, cobwebs around the ceiling, dirty sofas and stains on the carpets. Toaster didn't work and hot water stopped working on the last morning. Outside area doesn't look like it's been cleaned this year! Drawer front missing in the kitchen.<br/>Also, if taking kids be aware there's a picture in the hall way with F word and S word on it at around toddler height ... not exactly family friendly

The apartment is let down by the grubby sofa (which had snail trails on it every morning). The outside space and chairs were very dirty, cigarette butts etc. We were told not to use the bath the day before arriving for a 4 night stay. The drains smelt bad and the water slow draining. The shared entrance hall very tired and the locks very flimsy. It’s a shame as the apartment is well decorated and in a decent location. Overall, disappointing.

This is a great apartment with everything you need for a fun stay in Saltburn. The 11 year old boy loved the interior so much! He said when he’s older he wants to live there ??

Great place and good location. Very clean. Only thing was the sofa was a bit dirty and some art inappropriate for younger kids.

It was nice and comfortable especially in the living room kitchen area . The beds were really comfortable and the area very quiet. We had a great nights sleep. Ideal location for the beach, high street and eateries. Loved the extras dotted around such as games, books and artwork. Outside space would be welcome in good weather.<br/><br/>The bunk beds are not really suitable for adults, could do with a guide on how to work the fab looking tv and a few more plates and dishes . The entrance to the building is a little rundown but once in the apartment that is all forgotten. Oven door needs a clean.

An ideal base for exploring Saltburn and the surrounding area. Property is light, airy and filled with lots of unique and interesting art.

Big apartment by the sea, clean comfortable bedrooms, nice bathroom. Parking was easy. Let down though by living room, sofa and rug are grubby. Kitchen let down by lack of equipment and overall supplies, no sugar, washing up liquid, basics usually provided by the host were lacking.

The accommodation was good, the decor was nice but wasn’t ideal for children. There were some items that people could find offensive. It made our boys laugh lots. But overall the flat was clean, beds comfy and so close to everything. It had beautiful high ceilings and was fun. Loved the games. The only thing we felt let it down was the cleanliness of the sofa. It just felt like it needed a professional clean. Otherwise we’d love to stay again.

The Artists Pad is very a funky stylish airy apartment, contemporary photography and artworks add to decor. Fab for our mini break after busy working weekend. Spot on location; easy walk to beach, quiet residential street, street parking.

Excellent location, responsive hosts, big spacious place looks just like the photos. Lovely little private yard as well. Definitely value for money. They do ask in the welcome guide not to allow pets on furniture, but the sofa is disgusting and has definitely been peed on by multiple dogs, could do with replacing as I wouldn't sit on it. The WiFi doesn't reach the main bedroom. You can hear everything upstairs (footsteps, singing etc) but didn't bother me. I'd book again for the proximity to the beach and the good vibes you get from the house design, but it really needs a new sofa. Also it's kind of unrelated but I was shocked at how little seafood was available anywhere in the area especially considering it's a beach town!

Not what we hoped for but would try again is feedback is taken on board.

Not suitable for children unless you like giant panes of glass with "thanks for the f#ck you dirty sl#t" scrawled across it filling the hallway, a candle giving the finger and numerous skulls. Couch was filthy. Poorly equipped - one frying pan and two pots only, no dustpan and brush, only one tea towel and one roll of loo paper provided for 8 days. No number provided for the flat anywhere in the instructions - it's the ground floor. Recycling bin has a sign on it saying it's not for our use in contradiction of instructions, outdoor bin wasn't there. No storage provided in any of the rooms. Communication was weird -felt like a bot. Location was good but we wouldn't be back. Forced to pay an extra £25 in damage insurance after booking - having stayed in hundreds of Airbnbs this was the first time that happened. Really disappointed overall, not the usual Airbnb experience.

Beautiful apartment. Felt safe, great location, could see beach from outside. Could hear upstairs at night but they weren't noisy, just living noise, going to the toilet etc.<br/>Unfortunately, there was sand in children's bunk bed + stains on some bedding. There were round pellets in the kitchen that put us off, if they were on just the countertop I'd think they were food particles but they were all over, even under the counter in the area without a drawer (not sure what that is, it's not in the pics or mentioned). There was mess on the kitchen table and countertops, some little hairs, not excessive, but it would have been good to have a new cheap cloth + a bit of washing up liquid to clean up as we've had in other AirBnB's. I looked everywhere for some so if there's any it'd be good to make it obvious. Bring some.<br/>Art in hall's a bit inappropriate for children - it says "Neil, thanks for the great f**k, you dirty sl*t". Tried covering with large suitcase... Double bunk mattress comfy.

On the whole really clean, excellent quality facilities. Would stay again.<br/><br/>One of the kitchen cupboards smelt of mould or damp, I'm sure this can be easily rectified.

Great stay. Location and flat are lovely. Very comfy beds. Quiet and 5 min walk to the beach.<br/>The kitchen needs a few more pans and utensils.

We had an absolutely wonderful two nights at The Artists Pad Too. The space was imaginatively thought out and furnished beautifully. My daughters particularly enjoyed the games (and the incredible TV) while I enjoyed many a cuppa, and cooking up some light meals in a showstopper kitchen. <br/>We travelled up on a Friday, after school, and headed back early Sunday afternoon, having checked out at 10 - it was a perfectly relaxing time. Our first time in Saltburn was lovely - long beach walks, fish & chips & mini golf. Perfect. It felt a lot longer than a weekend, and we were all very sad to leave. <br/>As usual Airbnb sent far too many scheduled comms so they were messaging me about preparing to leave almost as soon as I arrived, which always seems jarring when on a short break, but that is the platform & we didn’t let that spoil our time. <br/>100% recommend - thank you!

This was great as an overflow to our home. We'll use it again in future for visitors!

Great weekend in Saltburn! The flat was comfortable and packed with modern art. As it was close to the centre everything was in easy walking distance. Host and Stay were great at keeping us updated and provided a handy local guide

The location was excellent. Excellent decor with cool art and music memorabilia. Great TV.<br/><br/>There was no lock on the bathroom door. There was a dark stain on one of the bedsheets. There was no dishwasher.

The flat was nice and clean, within easy reach of all amenities. We walked easily to the beach, and to restaurants etc. Great for a weekend stay.

Lovely accomodation, clean and tidy. Good location. Think when advertising that the accomodation is through the entrance and a blue door to your right. It didn't look like the entrance to an apartment, even though we sussed it out. The entrance is tatty but when enter the apartment it's nice.

Couldn’t get into the local hotel, so found this place on Airbnb, a great find, cheaper than the hotel and a great location for the golf events we enjoyed while staying there! <br/>Nice touch with the ping of milk left in the fridge, so we could have tea or coffee on arrival! <br/>So close to various pubs and restaurants in the town, we did tomohawk on the front and was not disappointed!<br/>Highly recommend a stay here and may be back again next year!

Location was good - near the centre and the beach. The House was clean once inside the flat - although i nearly didn't bother even looking inside it was so dirty outside. Very qwerty art.<br/><br/>The outside was filthy - Windows disgusting and the hallway was foul. No microwave which is very poor and the sofas were far too low for anyone over the age of 40 to sit on. No dishwasher either.

Stunning accommodation with all the mod cons you could need, this place felt like a home from home and we will definitely return but stay longer next time. Can't fault the place and already recommended it to a few friends. We would recommend the guns bar (dog friendly/craft beers), no. twenty three (take away pizza) and seaview restaurant (views and delicious food) ?

A very low futon, that was filthy. Impossible to sit on.<br><br>No basic facilities, wardrobe or space for clothes, , no coat hangers or drawers for clothes. No soap or shampoo, no dishcloths or tea towels or kitchen roll. Although advertised no microwave, and no dishwasher. The bed was very low to floor. <br><br>It was so uncomfortable we left after first day, we couldn’t face another night although we had paid for it and.came home<br><br>NOT THE STANDARD WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM VRBO! Very dissatisfied! Art was good but everything else terrible

A well located property within walking distance of both the promenade/beach and town centre.<br/>The property had some very high quality furnishings and was decorated very nicely (the pictures are accurate).<br/><br/>It wasn't very clear upon entry past the front door which property it was so we would suggest it be helpful to replace the sign on the front door. But the instructions to access the keys otherwise were easy to follow.<br/><br/>Would have been nice for some basic additions like shampoo/shower gel. But otherwise cannot complain and would recommend as a good base for a weekend in Saltburn.<br/><br/>The host were very good with proactive communications/info (didn't really need to get in contact as all information was provided including some local recommendations) so it was a fuss-free booking.

This place is awesome! We only stayed one night - didn’t want to leave! It’s close to bars and restaurants and in the other direction, the sea. Fab TV and music speaker, really funky.<br/>Would love to stay again ??

Amazing location! 2 minutes walk to the beach. Flat was lovely too, as well as nice and warm (was very windy and cold outside when we stayed).<br/><br/>We actually walked past the flat downstairs and ended up knocking on one of the flats upstairs (they set us straight and told us where to go). Maybe just us, but we didn’t find the inner flat door obvious.<br/><br/>Overall though, we had a nice stay and would definitely return.

We loved Saltburn, it's a lovely seaside town. My kids and dogs have loved playing on the beach. This place is located in the perfect spot to get to town and the shops if you need them and you can be on the beach in a few minutes (down some steep steps if you're able)

Great apartment with plenty of room and great tv for the kids. The back yard was a bonus for the dog. Disappointed there was no washing machine as stated and a microwave would be handy.
