The Space
Ironside has been recently redecorated a high standard so you can expect homely interiors and furnishings throughout.

Once inside the apartment, you’ll be welcomed into the modern open plan living, kitchen and dining area straight ahead of you.

With crisp white walls and two sofas, the living space at Ironside feels warm and welcoming. A home from home, you can cuddle up here with your loved ones and enjoy quality time together. There is a TV with Freeview so you can keep on top of your favourite shows during your stay.

Home to white cabinets and smooth wooden worktops the kitchen is a pleasant space. Fully equipped for all stays, the kitchen boasts a fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven and toaster. It also includes the added luxury of a dishwasher.

Boasting a wooden table and matching dining chairs, the dining area is a contemporary space to enjoy a hearty meal.

You’ll find two bedrooms and one bathroom at Ironside. Both with a cosy and relaxing feel, the bedrooms are well-equipped so you can make yourself right at home. You’ll enjoy your night's sleep at Ironside as the king size bed boasts the finest quality bedding and linens.

With neutral tones and modern fittings, the bathroom is an ultra-clean and modern space. It boasts a large walk-in shower, WC and basin.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

With a bustling harbour and a seaside holiday resort feel, Seahouses is packed with charisma. Treat the family to a game of crazy golf or go rock pooling. The charming village offers a whole host of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and shops all within a 0.8 mile walk or drive, so you won’t tire of things to do. If you like horse riding, there is a riding school close by and two incredible golf courses on the doorstep.

Hop on one of the boat trips from Seahouses and take a journey to the Farne Islands. Just a couple of miles off the coast, this cluster of islands are one of the UK’s top wildlife experiences. It even has Sir David Attenborough’s stamp of approval as he declared it as his favourite place in the UK to see nature at its best. The Farne Islands are known for its birds with 23 different breeds spotted here, including colourful puffins and razorbills. If you’re lucky enough, you may even see a seal bobbing in the sea whilst you’re on the boat.

Getting Around
The nearest train station to Seahouses is at Chathill which is 5 miles away. The closest East Coast Main Line train stations are located Alnmouth or Berwick-upon-Tweed which are roughly 30 minutes away from Seahouses by car.

There are great bus services from Seahouses. Hop on the X18 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas of Northumberland like Amble and Alnwick.

The closest airport to Seahouses is Newcastle International, 49 miles away from the village.

A parking permit is provided for on-street parking at the rear of the property for one vehicle.
