The Space
52 Waterside Place is located on the third floor of recently built apartment block in Taunton. Access is via lift or a set of stairs, so the apartment is suitable for everyone. Once inside the apartment, you’ll find an open plan living, kitchen and dining room, bathroom and bedroom.

The living space is a comfortable and homely room with a large velvet sofa, a stylish coffee table, and a pine green armchair for you to relax in. The television is a generous size and has a number of Freeview channels, along with access to Netflix and other apps so you can log in to your accounts.

Sharing the space is the kitchen and dining area which continues the bright theme with light grey units and white granite worktops. The dining space features a round glass dining table with leather chairs, ideal for delicious hearty breakfasts before a day of exploring.

The space has large windows which flood the room with light. The perfect spot to watch the world go by outside, there is a tranquil and calm feeling here.

Head out onto the hallway and you will find a spacious bedroom to the left. With a super-king bed, tall freestanding wardrobe, beside tables and lamps, this space is well equipped for your self-catering stay.

The bathroom features a bath, shower, WC and a basin, all within a luxuriously modern designed space.

For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Taunton is a bustling town with excellent amenities, a good selection of independent and high street shops, distinctive restaurants, cafes and attractions, and a wealth of history, all whilst being surrounded by picturesque countryside.

Nestled in the vale of Taunton Deane, Taunton is surrounded by beautiful scenery. With the glorious Quantock Hills to the west and the striking Blackdown Hills to the south, you are ideally situated for enjoying beautiful walks.

A good selection of independent shops and high street names can be found in Taunton. With a large choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars, there are plenty of options for foodies looking to try local produce.

Waterside Place is just a 30 second walk away from the French Weir Park. Here you’ll find waterfront green space, a lovely cafe, a playground, and grassy lawns where you can enjoy sports and picnics.

Getting Around
Taunton has good road and rail links to the rest of the country and with its close proximity to London and the Midlands, Somerset is one of the most accessible and popular destinations in the South West for restful weekend getaways as well as active holidays.

With buses linking all of the major towns and a park and ride scheme in operation serving two sites in Taunton, travelling by bus is a great choice.

Taunton Railway Station is operated by Great Western Railway (GWR) and is located to the north of Taunton town centre. There are regular and frequent train services between Taunton and London Paddington (under 2 hours journey time), Cardiff Central, Bristol Temple Meads, Exeter St. Davids and Plymouth.

The nearest airport is located in Exeter, 30 miles away from Taunton.
