The Space
The large living room provides plenty of seating with a sofa and armchairs, opening into a dining area that seats up to six guests.

The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar and all the essentials for a self-catering stay, including a fridge freezer and a washing machine in the utility room.

This spacious three-bedroom property includes a double room with a king-size bed and two twin rooms. The double bedroom offers ample built-in wardrobe space, and all rooms are filled with natural light.

There are two bathrooms: an upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath and a downstairs bathroom with a shower cubicle and WC.

Outside, enjoy the enclosed garden with a dining table and BBQ.

You can walk along the beach to Holkham Beach, another stunning location, featured in the closing scene of Shakespeare in Love.
This part of the Norfolk coast is also great for birdwatching, especially in the surrounding salt marshes.

Wells Quay is the heart of the town, bustling with fishing boats and offering views of the salt marshes. You can stroll along the quay, watch the boats come in, or try your hand at crabbing, a popular family activity. There are several eateries around the quay where you can enjoy fresh seafood, including fish and chips, or visit one of the local pubs for a drink.

Take a boat trip from Wells Harbour to explore the surrounding coastline. Several companies offer tours, including seal-watching trips to Blakeney Point, where you can see the famous grey seals, particularly in the winter months when pups are born.

Hop on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway, the longest 10¼" narrow gauge steam railway in the world. The journey takes you through scenic countryside to the nearby village of Walsingham, known for its historic abbey and religious significance as a pilgrimage site.

Getting Around
Walking is one of the best ways to explore Wells-next-the-Sea. The town is compact, and most of the main attractions, such as the harbour, shops, and restaurants, are within easy walking distance.

The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk from the town center along the Beach Road or along the scenic path that runs parallel to the Wells Harbour Railway. The beach is vast and lined with colorful beach huts, making it perfect for long walks.
Wells is part of the Norfolk Coast Path, a long-distance trail that runs along the coastline. You can enjoy walks to nearby villages like Holkham (approx. 2 miles west) or further along the coast to Blakeney or Cley-next-the-Sea.

Wells-next-the-Sea is about 45 minutes by car from Norwich via the A1067, or around 2.5 to 3 hours from London.

The nearest train station is in Sheringham or King's Lynn, from which you can catch a bus or taxi to Wells. The Coasthopper bus service runs along the North Norfolk coast, connecting Wells-next-the-Sea with other coastal towns such as Sheringham, Cromer, and Hunstanton.
