Spacious, clean and modern house in great location. Good communication from host and felt like a very easy stay. Just what we needed for a group of families, boot room/utility was very handy for the pile of beach stuff and sandy shoes

Great location which is close to the site of Whitby and access to the Cleveland Way. Good parking and the accommodation (we had 2 cars). The instructions as regards access to the apartment are very accurate but need to be carefully read i.e. easy to confuse with no 3 Lemonade Cottage.<br/>Host and Stay provided a useful app for the location and the accommodation was as described.<br/>Comfortable beds and good general facilities for our needs (we ate out for lunch and dinner). All-in-all a great base to explore Whitby and surrounding places.

Stayed in it about 4 years ago in March & it was immaculate, in fact i think we were the first people to stay in it.The weather wasn’t so nice then so didn’t need windows open.<br/><br/>Could do with ceiling fans in the bedrooms because with the windows open the traffic noise is very loud on one side and the seagulls nesting on the other make a right row. Needs more hanging space in some of the bedrooms and basically think the place is due a freshen up (lick of paint & new carpets etc )the stairs are very creaky so much so that if someone gets up early it wakes others when they go downstairs <br/>Other than that it possibly wants a proper deep clean skirting boards etc. between cushions on sofas etc

Property is in great location. Plenty of bathrooms for 8 adults and 4 young children.<br/><br/>Don’t think main oven was working properly. Could have been doing with a few more glasses and tea towels. No where to hang clothes in some bedrooms. Car parking a bit of an issue. Two allocated spaces were fine, but 2 of our cars parked on street and one was damaged over night.

Stayed as a large group for a work event, the house was in a great location for Whitby! <br/>House was clean, tidy and very comfortable for our group of 10, well appointed kitchen! <br/>Easy check in and out! Would recommend this place for any decent sized group!

This was a wonderfully located stay for our group of six. It's important to download the guide they send you before you arrive so that you know where to park and can see the location easily.

The location is really great. Walking distance to everything. <br/>We really liked the large utility area downstairs as we had a pram and it was easy to get in there, no steps, and to leave it down there out of the way. Also great for storing coats, shoes and beach stuff that the 2 grandkids had. There was also a shower room off the utility, plus washing machine and drier down there, which were very handy. <br/>There was plenty of space for all of us, 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. It’s a great place for a family get together.<br/><br/>Nothing not to like.

Really good location, good rooms and having the 5 bathrooms was great. Was a nice social space for our family and so easy to get into centre of Whitby but there are good restaurants, and coffee place all 5 min walk.<br/><br/>The kitchen wasn't well stocked and it seemed like the place wasn't properly restocked. There was a coffee machine but only 1 pod, there was washing up liquid but only enough left for 1 wash. There were no oven gloves, only 1 teatowel and limited pans.

Comfortably fit 10 adults, a teen and dogs. Lovely furnishings. Kitchen well equipped and good location for Whitby centre.<br/>2 parking spaces was a bonus.<br/><br/>It didn't spoil our stay but if you don't like road noise take a bedroom at the back.

Fabulous house

Place was excellent. Brill location so close to the town. kitchen was great and well stocked for the 7 of us staying.<br/>Boot room is super helpful when coming in from beach with Dogs.

We would not hesitate to return. <br/>Some reviews said there was only one parking space, but there were definitely two, one in front of the other, left of the property adjacent the fence.

This property is described as “luxury” and “spotless”. This is our experience:<br/>We (a family of 10 people) arrived on Christmas Eve to find there were 5 forks in the kitchen. Issue not resolved in time for Christmas Day. Lack of appropriate glassware and number of plates were chipped. <br/>Dustballs on staircase and dirt on window sills. Walls were scuffed. Rubbish from previous occupants left in one of the rooms. Showers filthy and mouldy.

Perfect pad for a group. We had 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. Enough space for all and bedrooms/bathrooms very good. Host excellent, lots of communications and assistance. <br/>Only gripes:<br/>1) There was only 1 parking space, so had to mess around finding other parking.<br/>2) No hand wash in any bathroom or toilet, which was odd and should be a given.<br/>3) No dishwasher tablets. Only expected 1 or 2 to get us going. Meant the first night, we had full dishwasher and pots everywhere (being a large group) as couldn’t put dishwasher on<br/>4) Not a gripe but just for info, no outside space, so dogs couldn’t just go out to use the toilet.<br/>All in all though a great place and location. Would return but would love some hand wash and dishwasher tablets please! Plus the 2 car parking spaces promised.

Accommodation was clean and the photos are a good representation of what you get. Good location about 5-10 mins walk into central Whitby. The kitchen equipment could do with some improvement, but generally, a decent place to stay for a group getaway.

The Location is quiet but just 5-10 minutes walk to the center of the town. Kitchen, Dining and sitting areas are well-equipped and spacious enough to cater 10 adults. Beds are comfortable. Rarely to have 5 baths and 5 bedrooms at the same. That’s a credit to this holiday home.<br/><br/>No hooks to hang towels and/or clothes in bathrooms and bedrooms. A little bit inconvenient ?

Fabulous stay and great accommodation, rooms all good and spacious and excellent communal area for socialising, we will be back.

Great location for exploring whitby

Thank you so much for a lovely stay at your property Lemonade Arch. We were a family group of 11 that attended a family wedding and Danby Castle. The location was excellent, just a short walk into Whitby town centre. The house was just perfect for us and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Great location. Near the centre of Whitby but far enough away to be quiet. Easy walking distance. Good range of double rooms and plenty of space to relax.<br/><br/>Parking for two cars only but this is not a problem as there is free parking nearby. It's worth taking some dishwasher tablets, tea towels and bin liners if you are planning on doing much cooking.

Lovely clean modern accommodation, loads of room. The house set out accommodated all of our group which was of varied ages and was really convenient for sight seeing, shops bars and restaurants. Highly recommended, we will definetely be back for a return visit.

Location was spot on here for access to everywhere we wanted to go. Five minute walk into Whitby itself surrounding costal walks and only a small car journey to other lovely areas. House was spacious and enough room for the nine off us. <br/>Unfortunately the house itself was dirty. Clumps off dust on skirting boards and edges off bathrooms and bedrooms. The walls were all marked and the interior looked run down inside. There was small stains on bedsheets in one off the bedrooms. The outside road was incredibly noisy and busy cars constantly passing by.

Overall a nice stay. We had to clean most of the kitchen before we used anything, the oven and oven trays were particularly unclean. After this was sorted we enjoyed the stay. Room with bath very large. Other rooms small but comfortable. Dining/lounge area was nice and comfortable. A little noisy at night with cars driving past but the location was very good!

The good - good communications, the place is very nice , modern and spacious and easily fit 9 of us in. The location is perfect. A short walk to the front, with excellent bars and restaurants, shops and Whitby attractions <br/> nearby.<br/><br/>The bad.. 4pm check in is very late. Two hours after most places.<br/>The standard of cleanliness was not up to scratch. The wooden kitchen table had a layer of grime on which made it sticky. We had to scrub it before we could use it. The bathrooms could have been cleaner too.

Can’t find any faults with this property. Stayed with 7 friends and each one of us was amazed at the value for money. Brilliant location, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and very clean.

Well equipped house and lovely rooms/bathrooms.<br/><br/>The only little niggle was the parking as one couple had to park in a public car park, as its a five bedroom house, surprised there isnt more parking spaces to be honest so Whitby is not the best place to find a space away from the property..

We booked this last minute for a short stay. It was a lovely place very pleasant for our large group we would recommend.

Fantastic house just the perfect size for 11 guests over 3 floors. A clean modern property which provides ample space. Location is spot on, so only a short walk in to town.<br/>If there are more than 2 cars, as well as the 2 spaces available at the house, parking is available 5 minutes away on a residential street called Springvale. Cars are safe and others park there also, as there’s no charge or permit required.

House in a great location. Very clean.<br/><br/>Parking area is a bit tight in courtyard if all spaces being used. Living room area could possibly benefit from a couple of lamps rather than having main lights on all the time. But not a major issue.

The location was excellent. The house was comfortable. Facilities were good. The beds were comfortable.<br/><br/>There weren't enough small drinking glasses for children to use.

Accommodation was perfect. The house was spotless and very nicely presented. We were a family of 8 adults, a toddler and a baby. Location is spot on , 5/10 min walk right into the centre of the town. Plenty of pubs and restaurants, advice would be to book well in advance before your holiday to avoid disappointment. We had a fantastic weekend x

here was more room than we expected which was amazing for us. We have a large family and it suited us all well. We loved our stay here. <br/>The only downfalls were<br/>The parking there wasnt the best.<br/>The heating was turned off the whole time we were there as it was way to hot. The beds are like sleeping on a plank of wood. <br/>But over all we had a happy stay

Just spent a few nights at Lemonade Arch, a beautiful house with more than enough room for the 10 people in our party, and didnt feel on top of each other. Beautifully decorated. Excellent location just a short walk from the centre of whitby. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the house. Staff excellent and kept in touch all throughout. Already booked again for next year.

Just arrived back from renting this beautiful apartment in Whitby. Superb location, the property has space for two cars.The apartment is out of this world, furnished and decorated to an exceptional high standard., rooms are spacious, beautiful and so modern. There is everything you need and absolutely no faults with this property whatsoever. Six of us stayed and had the best time ever, we will certainly be returning.
