Morse Cottage

This is a spacious and very comfortable house with that most precious Whitby asset- private parking for two large cars. The lounge kitchen was very well equipped, immaculately clean and very comfortable for four (or more adults). The two double rooms were of a great size, both with ensuite shower rooms. The twin again was large and had its own bathroom, with a shower over the bath. There was a small patio area. The location was excellent, very close to the town centre, yet down a quiet lane so quiet and private.<br/><br/>Nothing.

Everything was perfect, we had a lovely stay in Whitby. The cottage was wonderful and location spot on. The host went above and beyond with a lovely welcome basket of goodies for the family to enjoy. We will definitely be back and will tell all our friends about this fantastic cottage. 10/10.

Everything. We have stayed at a number of properties in Whitby but this is by far the best. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Homely and comfortable. Lovely little touches throughout. Cottage was amazing,really clean, comfortable and lots of little touches like the welcome box-local biscuits, chocolates, coffee pods and milk ready for arrival. Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from centre of town and beach front, had views of Abbey from upstairs windows and patio. Host came to welcome us and gave lots of useful advice. Had fantastic stay and would certainly use again.<br/><br/>Nothing

No expense spared here! The beds were lovely and comfortable, the decor and furnishings were all very nice, a fully equipped kitchen. A bathroom for each bedroom. LOCATION! was fab! Off street parking for 2 cars (much needed in busy whitby) the hosts were very friendly and always on hand, not that we needed them for anything.<br/><br/>We loved everything!

Expensive, but worth it - great house, great location, and great hosts

Enjoyed our stay in Morse Cottage. There was a good amount of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Easy access into Whitby town on foot. We made use of all kitchen amenities and washing machine.<br/>The parking space was tight for two large vehicles but much appreciated.

Tucked away in a quiet location yet only 5 minutes from the station and Whitby centre. Morse Cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you could require; 3 bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet, even a radio in each room. The kitchen is exceedingly well stocked with plenty of high end crockery and cutlery, there's even a bag of picnic tableware. The welcome box was very much appreciated! Definitely would recommend this holiday venue.

Beatiful house in a great location! Lovely decoration and little touches like picnic things provided and a lovely welcome hamper. Only 5 minutes walk to the harbour and useful to be able to park outside the house. Owners were helpful when hot water stopped working.<br/>I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in whitby!

Superb house, a true home from home experience. Lovely welcome pack and very attentive host, who accommodated our extra visitors by providing extra chairs and a parking space. Cannot fault the luxury or location. Would definitely recommend this company and cottage.

Morse Cottage as advertised and stay was lovely, high standard of fixtures and fittings. Owner popped in to cover issue with lights fusing which was no problem. Only comment would be about the rental company Host n Stay, not the most responsive communication, also my number was passed to a third party to verify my identity by submitting photo ID. I wasn’t keen on providing copies of sensitive documents so queried this and was eventually told it was optional but it didn’t stop the company badgering me via text over a number of days which I wasn’t keen on.

We enjoyed a lovely few days in Whitby, lovely house in a perfect location. Would definitely recommend!

Genuinely the best cottage we have ever rented. It was brand new and fitted to a great standard. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, everything we needed was already there and more! Excellent & we will be back! X
