Previously voted the best high street in the UK, Yarm has plenty of independent bars, restaurants, cafes and shops to choose from.

The outdoor space includes newly laid Indian sandstone patio and outdoor seating plus a hot tub where you can relax during your stay. There's also ample private on site parking!

The Space
The Stables has a bright and homely living, kitchen and dining area. The perfect place to unwind with your loved ones, you can relax on the sofa or armchair and keep up with your favourite shows on the flat screen TVs and the use of the sonos sounds system throughout property. Open up the doors which lead directly onto the property’s private patio and let the fresh country air flood into the space which also is adjoining to the Cleveland Way Walk.

Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the newly fitted kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily.

Outside there is an excellent newly laid Indian sandstone patio which, in turn, leads out onto a spacious open garden with beautiful landscaping and a quirky covered seating area with lighting. Start your day with a morning coffee in the sunshine or enjoy a glass of something bubbly as the sun goes down whilst listening to your favourite tune on the outdoor sonos speaker.

An addition to the outside space on offer at The Stables is a hot tub with Bluetooth speakers which only adds to the ambience of the setting.

Back inside The Stables and you’ll find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms and the bathrooms boast Sonos sound systems which guests are welcome to use.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and a stylish bathroom with a bath and WC, whilst the second room is a double Bed with a WC and extremely luxurious contemporary walk-in shower. Both bedrooms both have comfortable new mattresses and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best night’s sleep.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

The small, peaceful village of Aislaby is located just four miles from Yarm, and ten miles from Darlington.

Known as one of the most scenic towns in North Yorkshire, Yarm has a whole host of places to eat, drink and explore during your stay. With bistros, bars, restaurants and cosy cafes lining the high street you can enjoy a wide range of culinary delights. Previously voted the best high street in the UK, there are plenty of shops to enjoy a leisurely afternoon of retail therapy. The stables is in close proximity to darlington train station & the very easy and accessible from Teesside airport.

Located just a short drive from the beautiful seaside town on Saltburn-by-the-sea and the stunning village of Great Ayton, The Stables is the perfect base to discover this beautiful part of England.

A hotspot for business, Darlington town centre is packed with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. You can catch the latest film or theatrical performance at Vue Cinema or The Darlington Hippodrome. Enjoy the history of the iconic St Cuthbert's Church, browse the wide range of designer stores and seek out the unique independent boutiques hidden in the historic yards of the town.

Getting Around
The closest train station to Aislaby is Eaglescliffe which is served by trains to and from Darlington, Middlesbrough & Saltburn, as well as having direct access to London Kings Cross.

Dinsdale train station is also just a few miles from this property with direct access to Darlington Train Station.

Darlington’s mainline east coast train station can have you in Edinburgh or London in just over 2 hours, or Leeds, York, Durham or Newcastle in under 1 hour. The A66 and the A1(M) are within a 5-minute drive rapidly linking the region and the country, whilst Teesside International Airport is only 3 miles away.

Home Truths

The Stables doesn't have separate living or dining rooms but it does have an open planing kitchen, living and dining area with bi-fold doors opening out to the patio. Please note the dining area only seats two guests.

Please note the property does not have a separate freezer but there is a freezer compartment within the fridge.
