Accountant – Book Keeper: Full Time

Reporting to the Finance Director, the chosen candidate will complete the day-to-day tasks of accurately recording and reconciling financial transactions within the accounting software, processing of payroll, and preparation of VAT returns.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years previous experience in a similar finance role

Strong knowledge and experience of Finance systems

Experience in calculating and submitting VAT returns

Experience in processing of payroll

Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

2+ Years of experience of Sage50 Accounts

AAT Level 4 or part qualified Accountant

CIMA/ACCA or ACA (QBE accepted)

Main Responsibilities

Day-to-day financial transactions accurately recorded

Sales Ledger, and Purchase Ledger reconciliation

General Ledger Maintenance

Calculation and submission of VAT returns

Processing of weekly and monthly payroll

Assistance with the delivery of management accounts

Delivery and management of month-end processes

Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
