Fab apartment. very good location.
The bedrooms are only single glazed so it is really noisy at night and early morning
lovely view from property
stairs where vey steep
The windows in the main bedroom closed partial by itself coming to rest on the blinds.
Quite a bit of noise from the alley way late at night.
Location very central, apartment was well equipped.
The location was very noisy. The apartment is situated above a fish restaurant and a Weatherspoons and other establishments. It was a particularly busy weekend and difficult to get to get to sleep. A parking permit was provided but spaces were very much at a premium and I therefore had to park further away.
Modern and well equipped with the addition of being in a prime beautiful location
Probably worth noting on the advert the pack of accessibility if you’re less mobile or have a child with buggy etc as the property has a very narrow stairs with lots of them
Mis-information supplied prior to arrival.Wrong address and postcode on two occasions, difficulty in finding actual location due to the fact it was "hidden" down a side street.
The layout of the rooms was fantastic, neat and tidy in every room.
The very first step into the building was too steep and all the stairs up to the room was quite tiring for me.
beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. perfect location
Views are great over the harbour and next to everything you need, will definately book again!
Great central location, a little noisy being next to wetherspoons but didnt bother us at all
Stunning accommodation and the view from lounge window at sunset was breathtaking
The steep stairs
Great location with fabulous views and well thought out apartment
Nothing springs to mind it was all good
The location was good, close to the bus and train station and it was surrounded by places to eat, in fact we were spoilt for choice.
The stairs to the apartment were steep and narrow which made it hard work for my mums arthritic knees. We had read reviews about the noise from the pub next door but we didn't expect to be woken at 5.30am by workers having a conversation under the window on one side then a couple of hours later the peace was disturbed by scaffolding been errected at the other side of the apartment. Quite a shock looking out the window and coming face to face with a scaffolder haha.
Location of the apartment and facilities within it were spot on.
Only slight down sides were nighttime noise from people exiting pubs and bars and the comfort of the beds was not great for us (thicker mattresses?).
Location. Facilities. Quality of the flat. Almost everything.
The main bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable and the stairs! Steep and many of them. Should be highlighted more on booking sites.
new and clean and well equipped
the stairs and the chip shop below very noisy and smelly
The apartment was great, exceptionally clean, a home away from home, and perfect location to explore Whitby. Would definitely recomend.
We found the parking scratch card very welcome and easy to use.
This is not a criticism in any way, just an observation.
There are a few stairs to the apartment, this didn't bother us, (and we are ladies of an age and shape!!). There isn't storage at the bottom eg for a pushchair etc.
fantastically clean and well equipped. nice location great view of the harbour.
lots of steps which wouldn’t be suitable for those with limited mobility. could get a bit noisy as it’s next to Wetherspoons pub but didn’t bother us
The view is amazing from the room and very central
Was in the perfect location right in the center over looking the harbour lovley views plenty of shops about for any type of shopping everything you want or need. Is right on your door step
Could be abit loud on Friday an satursya as your right next to a weatherspoons but this is to be expected in the location your are was not bad I manage to sleep just fine
Stayed in apartment 4, great apartment, clean, comfortable and location is great in the heart of Whitby. Next door to Wetherspoons with a view from the living/ kitchen area out over the harbour?
Access to the apartment is up quite a narrow and relatively steep 2 flights of stairs. it would be somewhat awkward to get medium or large luggage up the stairs.
Lovely apartment, very clean, great central location
It is quite noisy due to the nearby pubs but we were completely aware of this before booking
lovely modern well equipped apartment
Bunk beds for an adult.
The freedom of choosing when to get up wetter to have a cooked breakfast at the apartment or whether to eat out. The extra space you have with an Apartment compared to a hotel room.
Location- was very close to the centre, but with that come extra noise. Perhaps some better sound proofing.
Lovely little place smack bang in the middle of all the action with everything walkable (even with young children).
Excellent town centre location, close to bars shops cafes and chippies!
Lovely views of harbour and the West side of Whitby accross the River Esk
All modern conveniences and essential items supplied including cleaning products
Cosy comfy and clean modern apartments
The only slight downside (and this was no failt of the property, in hindsight I should have researched more thoroughly at time of booking) was rather steep sets of stairs leading to our room om the second floor
It wouldnt usually have been an issue but we have a one year old baby and pushchair, and as the entrance to the property on the side street was very narrow, the pushchair had to be disassembled every time we came in or went out
If you are generally mobile this would not pose a problem but maybe something to consider for people bringing babies or toddlers/children who need carrying so just thought I would point this out
We managed fine for a short stay but may have been rather arduous had we stayed for a week or longer
We liked the view over the harbour and the fact we could walk through all the visitor attractions, pubs and restaurants
When we arrived mostly the apartment was spotless however the toilet wasn’t cleaned and the main area wasn’t hoovered. Also the parking pass has not been left in the room
Location ideal great view.
We had a brilliant stay apartments was great very clean and near to everything
Lovely apartment , in the heart of Whitby. Quite noisy location due to being next to a hotel/pub but it’s to be expected due to location.
Good location spacious clean lovely views from apartment 4
Noise at night from hotel next door very noisy throughout the whole night even when windows closed
The stay was beautiful and ideally placed in the heart of Whitby. With local shops, cafes, restaurants and famous sites close by it is the perfect accomadation for couples and families alike.
What a beautiful apartment. Clean, modern and a fantastic location.
Nothing. It was perfect
Great location. Well equipped.
Lots of places to explore.
The apartment is modern and clean, in a good location, the hosts were helpful and on always on hand for our queries.
There was only one toilet roll in the apartment on arrival, and it was a little noisy due to the central location which is okay, however it sounded like the window in the main bedroom was open when it wasn’t.
Parking was a problem, the free parking was a long way from the apartment. The apartment bedrooms back onto an the exit to a bar, which can be very noisy late at night. Also the bar bottle bank is is also located there and early mornings can be noisy when in use. Being elderly the stairs can be a challenge.
