Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. From the guestbook
Location was excellent, facilities were great. Parking at the back was great
would be difficult if had 2 cars as reserved parking at the front was used throughout the stay.
Great space, great quality. Spacious. Walking distance to centre. Parking space at the back was great! Great to have bath and shower.
The floors needed a better clean. The property at the end of the access road blocked our 2nd parking space on a number of occasions. thankfully wasn’t an issue as we only had one car.
Centrally located, comfortable cottage
The location and parking
The settees weren’t very comfortable, only one small tv. A washing machine would’ve been handy there’s no little luxuries and the outside space needs a tidy. The property has parking but it seems the neighbours park there.
Very central. Information provided was helpful. Everything we needed for a mini break. Garden was an added bonus so we could sit out in the sun.
Another loo roll!
What a fantastic stay we have had didn't want to leave .......... they property is beautiful everything we could have hope for and more, very clean and tidy and fully equiped. The location could not have been any better five minute walk from the centre of Whitby.
Can't wait to book to stay again!
Nothing could have been any better, everything was just perfect even the weather.
excellent location for walking around Whitby and designated car parking
the lounge sofa is uncomfortable
Fab central location accommodation
Nothing loved all of it
location is great. lovely outdoor areas too
the tree over the car park space meant the car was filthy after 3 days - birds and sap
central location with parking. Excellant facilities. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, toilet rolls all provided.
needed more coat hangers. Bed too soft for me, but I like sleeping on a brick.
Very good location, clean and lots of kitchen equipment. there was a pint of milk in the fridge ready for me.
The only downside was that seagulls woke me up very early!
2 private parking places
another car not with the group parked in one of the bays throughout our stay even though it clearly stated it was reserved
Cute and comfortable cottage with everything you could need. Perfect private parking space. Comfortable beds and quiet
Beautiful cottage , great location.
There were 2 designated parking spaces with the property however the one to the front which was clearly marked for 6 Spring cottage we were not able to use as someone else had parked in the space for the duration of our stay thus meaning our guests had to park elsewhere.
A fab little cottage beautiful decorated throughout with a lovely mix of old and new also very clean! Great location perfectly situated to explore Whitby.
Gorgeous accommodation in a perfect location
Front door opens into the living room and we found it a little chilly on arrival. Once we got the fire on we were lovely and toasty.
Great location and a really cosy cottage
Check in and check out times,
Lovely cottage, really handy to all amenities.
i love the location and the fact so much stuff was available in the kitchen (teas/coffee etc) all very well thought out. also having an enclosed garden space was soooo helpful for our dog.
we had a slight issue with the back door but that was sorted once I phoned. the internet connection for the telly was unusable the 1st day but the next day it was fine. also the couches weren’t very comfy but suppose that encouraged us to get up and go out and explore.
Excellent location, less than 5 minute walk to Whitby harbour/beach.
Cottage lovely and cosy, nice and clean
Beautiful cottage, ideal location and private parking. Coffee Machine, Tea and even milk are provided for your stay. A home away from home.
Lovely cottage plenty room in closed yard ideal for our dog
Did not say there was two key boxes one at back and front door parked car in parking bay in garden tryed code and would not work one hour spent trying open code box in rain and speaking to host staff can not understand why code is different at side park car had walk around to the front door to try and that worked they both should be same code number
Great location for exploring Whitby
The property was in a great location . The inside was absolutely gorgeous , one of the Best cottages I’ve stayed in . Added Bonus it had two parking slots one nominated in front of the cottage and a rear car park space at the back of the cottage.
Faultless in every department
great location, just off the main road and a 3 minute walk to the bridge
Bed mattress not very comfy
Extremely well equipped and in great condition. Loved the location with a short walk into the town.
A little difficult to get the keys out but the staff were on hand and dealt with it immediately.
This was a great place to stay. The location was absolutely perfect for me and my partner (and our two dogs). The house was modern and clean which was great. The heating system is fantastic….10 min on and the house is like an island in the Bahamas. Small drive at the back of the house meant parking was a doddle.
Amazing location and beautiful property
Loved the little garden
Nothing that I didn’t like it was spot on
Location was fabulous, lovely cottage and garden.
On arrival the bathroom floor was covered in long dark hair so clearly hadn’t been cleaned.
When booking we were aware that the only parking available was on the street on a first come basis. When we tried to park we were met with a very rude couple at number 1 who were threatening towards us and told us we weren’t allowed to park outside their house. As we didn’t want to cause any problems we parked in a car park costing £27 for 3 nights! The annoying thing was, we found out on the 3rd day that there was a parking space specifically for Spring Cottage at the rear of the property which we hadn’t been informed about. I don’t understand why this wasn’t made clear when booking.
Great house in a great location, walking distance to everything you need in Whitby. We would definitely come back
Really great place. Close to Whitby centre so accessible to everything. Parking is limited but lots of parking close by. Will definitely book again.
Location is great, dog friendly, private car park space round back of the property, decor is very nice
Sofas were extremely uncomfortable to the point my partner and I just couldn’t sit on them without constantly shuffling around, repositioning ourselves or ending up with back ache.
We spent all day out and about round Whitby so wanted to just chill out and watch TV of a night time.
It was due to being so uncomfortable of an evening we decided to leave the property and come home 2 days early from our holiday.
Property wasn’t overly clean either, dirt and spilt food/drink marks on kitchen floor along with hairs and dust in the bathroom.
We had a lovely stay at the spring cottage, the location is great and private car park to the back of property is a huge bonus. Lots of dog friendly walks on the doorstep, would recommend cinder track or an early morning walk up the 199 steps and along the coastal path.
The cottage itself has been beautifully refurbished and we had everything we needed. My only complaint is that the couches are a little uncomfortable for a rainy afternoon spent indoors.
Great little cottage , in an ideal location. Beautifully decorated and v clean.
Overall a lovely property to stay at. Location is fabulous, If you can get parking on the road outside the property and don't need to move your car all week it won't be an issue, we just found that some local residents would block our car in.
We had a Lovely 3 days in this lovely little house. Nicely decorated, very clean and new. Shame we couldn't sit outside in the garden with a glass of wine as the weather wasn't great for outdoor dining. Fab that we could park right outside the front door. The central location is amazing, great for walking back at night from the new cocktail bar .would love to stay again.
Lovely property with a central location.
The cottage was gorgeous , exactly as it looked on the website. The whole place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again.
We had a really good holiday in Whitby and the cottage was lovely. It was really clean and recently refurbished. The location was perfect as it’s only a few minutes walk to the harbour. It will be even better when the parking space is available at the back of the property as we struggled at the front and used pay and display in the end. Although we did know this could be the case when booking. We would definitely return.
Ideal location for Whitby, comfortable cottage. Parking may be an issue. As described
