The Space
Bamburgh 38 is a two bedroom apartment with a homely feel throughout. The open plan living and dining space is the social hub of the property with a welcoming feel.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is tucked away to the rear of the room and is fully equipped with everything you need for your self-catering break. Featuring white, high shine kitchen cabinets and white tiles, it is a modern and clean space. There is an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and coffee maker so you can make the most of the facilities during your stay.

LIVING AREA
The living area is comfortable and cosy. There are two leather sofas so you can relax after a long day of exploring the local area. On the wall, there is a flat screen TV which has Freeview so you can keep up with your favourite shows or watch a DVD on the DVD player.

BEDROOM
You’ll enjoy your nights sleep at Bamburgh 38 as the main double bedroom features a comfy mattress along with premium bedding and linens.

The second bedroom is a perfect family setting. With a comfy double bed, as well two singles in the form of a bunk bed, this room is ideal for parties staying with children.

BATHROOM
The modern and clean bathroom boasts a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and basin.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Bamburgh 38 is located in the County Durham town of Spennymoor. Famous for its mining heritage, you’ll find history in abundance throughout Spennymoor. Visit Durham Mining Museum and relive the past for yourself.

The Victoria Jubilee Park is a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the tranquil grounds in and around Whitworth Hall.

Het appartementje ligt op de eerste verdieping (tussen de gewone Engelsen) en heeft een mooi uitzicht op groenvoorzieningen. Een voetpad aan de achterkant leidt naar de grote Asda supermarkt zeer dichtbij. Het appartement heeft een eigen parkeerplaats (onder het raam van de huiskamer) en een wasmachine, magnetron en elektrisch koken zodat je er ook langer kunt verblijven. Internet was goed. <br/>Spennymoor ligt tussen de historische plaatsen Durham (kasteel en kathedraal in pittoresk centrum) en Bishop Auckland (Prinsbisschopspaleis, Spaanse schilderijen galerij, Romeins fort Binchester en 's zomers het openluchtspectakel Kynren over de Britse geschiedenis en mythes) in een groene heuvelige omgeving met mooie uitzichten. Het gebied is niet zo bekend bij Nederlanders, maar zeker een bezoek waard.<br/><br/>De douchetemperatuur was lastig in te stellen met een elektrische verwarmingskastje (zeer Engels) aan de doucheslang .

Pros:<br/>1. Very close to bus stop<br/>2. Asda superstore was at walking distance.<br/>3. Lot of toys for kids to play. <br/>4. Close to high Street, and the park.<br/>5. Coffee machine provided, with varieties of coffee and hot chocolate.<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>1. House is on first floor, not mentioned in description and was difficult to chug luggage. (Though, neighbour was helpful with luggage)<br/>2. TV not working at all. Owner came in after telling many times, re-tuned the TV and left. But never worked and I stopped telling anymore. <br/>3. Wifi connection is pathetic most of the times. Blocks calls, streaming is poor. Most of the time speed was not more than 2.5Mbps. <br/>4. Complained about Wi-Fi, and the answer I got was that it is for pleasure and not for business. I don't think 2Mbps is sufficient even for pleasure. <br/>5. Mentioned in description that the linen would be changed after a week if staying a fortnight, but not changed. <br/>6. Hot water flow in kitchen tap flow was very poor.

3 kids 2 adult. Clean and tight appartments. First night was cold as the baterys wasn't switched on prior our arrival. Communication with host easy and respond is fast. So issue with heating been solved. From technical aspects everything in working order.<br/>READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARKING!!!!<br/>At the first night we parked our car in wrong sloth at the same front yard where all cars parked and in the morning found two doors purposely sckratched!!! This was the crucial disappointment. The rest it was a nice fammily stay.

Clean, homely and well equipped. Near to a large supermarket and only 15 minutes drive into Durham city centre. However, the TV did not work.

This is a good apartment, with a convenient location, very close to the supermarkets and town. The equipment inside is very complete. And the communication was really good. The only drawback is that the wifi is really not good, we use our hotspot all the time. And the shower water is small. Overall it’s a nice place and I recommend it to the others.

Lack of finer details. No bottle opener. Shower tan out of hot water. No black out blinds. Awoke at 4 am unable to get back to sleep. Dishwasher tabs, but couldn’t locate a dishwasher… just east accommodation for fast money. Not loved as it should be
