Make sure you visit the unique Shell Grotto when visiting Margate! Enter this subterranean passageway that is studded with an incredible 4.6 million shells, creating a magical mosaic of interesting patterns and symbols. Still to this day, no one knows how, why or where this hidden treasure has came from…

If your looking for something a little different, pop down to the largest tidal pool in the UK. Walpole Bay Tidal Pool is a Grade II-listed structure perfect for swimming on a beautiful sunny day or on a frosty morning for a refreshing quick dip. Close by you can also find mini golf, tennis court, cafe and indoor bowls for some additional fun.
