The Space
Alnwick Apartment I is a stylish and luxurious two-bedroom apartment that can accommodate up to four guests. Fully furnished to a high standard, you can expect beautiful interiors throughout. Located on the ground floor, all rooms offer ample space to ensure you have a relaxing stay.

Upon entering the apartment, you can find the open plan kitchen and dining area to the left-hand side. Whip up a hearty meal in the kitchen, which is fully kitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster.

In the living room, you can unwind on the comfy sofas and stream your favourite shows from the Smart TV.

Fitted with a bathtub and overhead shower, basin and WC, the modern and clean family bathroom is the perfect setting for enjoying a refreshing cleanse.

Rest your head in one of the two bedrooms at Alnwick Apartment I. The master bedroom boasts a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, basin and WC. The bedroom is also decorated with a chest of drawers and bedside tables, all of which can be utilised for storing your belongings.

Treat yourself to the luxury of the relaxing double bed in the second bedroom. Beautifully decorated with a large mirror, hanging space, and a bedside table, you’ll find everything you need to feel right at home.

A sofa bed is available at Alnwick Apartment I which, when made up, will increase the occupancy to six. Please contact our friendly team prior to your stay to arrange for the sofa bed to be made up for your reservation.

Outside is a communal back yard which is shared with Alnwick Apartment II. Here you’ll find outdoor furniture and a lockable shed for storage.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
With cobbled streets lined with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, the market town of Alnwick has charisma and personality in abundance. If you’re a keen reader, head to the old railway station and you’ll find one of the UK’s largest second-hand bookshops. As night falls, venture to one of the lively inns to enjoy live music.

Alnwick also has some of the country’s top attractions including Alnwick Castle, which was the location for the famous Harry Potter film franchise. Discover a realm of adventure by taking on the Dragon Quest or complete broomstick training in the very spot where Harry Potter had his first flying lesson. Head to the Artisan Courtyard to have fun dressing up in medieval costumes and get a feel for 14th century life. You can also explore The Alnwick Garden where you’ll find 12 acres of magnificent gardens and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant.

Getting Around
The closest train station is Alnmouth, which is just a short drive from Alnwick so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail, including locations further afield including Edinburgh, Newcastle and London.

There are a number of bus stops throughout Alnwick. Hop on the X20 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas of Northumberland like Alnmouth and Amble. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahouses.

The nearest airport is Newcastle International, 34 miles away from Alnwick.
