Getting Around
Located in the Dovedale area of the Peak District, Wetton is ideally located for those who have access to their own vehicle. Although the public transport in the quiet and tranquil village isn't vast, there are a few options. The 108 bus connects Wetton to Ashbourne and Leek via Thorpe and Alstonfield. This bus is typically quite infrequent and is mainly used by locals, so you’ll need to check the timetable in advance. Alternatively you can get the local trains Ashbourne is around 10 miles from Wetton and has bus connections to the village. From Ashbourne, you can catch a train to Derby or Stoke-on-Trent, which then connects you to other parts of the country.
