The Space
On arrival, you will be greeted by a large stone porch. From here you will walk into a welcoming parlour with a wood burner, a country style kitchen with a large family dining table, a range-style cooker with gas hob and electric oven. For more formal dining you will find a Jacobean panelled dining room with a large dining table and a second wood burner.
A small hidden reading nook awaits should you want a quiet spot to read. The period style continues into the drawing room with large cosy leather sofas and a Smart TV.
When your day is finished make your way up one of the two staircases to your choice of one of the five bedrooms. You can choose from either a single room, a super-king four-poster bed, a king-size, another two super-king-size zip-and-link beds (can be twins on request) – one of which has an additional single bed with a guest pull out trundle, which would be ideal for a family room or all the children in one room!
In addition, you will find one of two bathrooms, the other being on the ground floor. Outside is a lawned garden, a BBQ and outside dining furniture for all guests on those summer days. There is ample off street parking for several cars for all the friends and family to park on the premises during your visit.

Neighborhood
Surrounded by breath taking countryside, the village of Ashbourne offers the perfect setting for relaxation, celebrations, or country pursuits. Alton Towers is also within easy reach, while the High Peak, Tissington, and Manifold Valley trails offer excellent opportunities for walking and cycling. For those looking to explore further, Chatsworth House and the historic market towns of Ashbourne, Matlock, Bakewell, and Buxton are just a short drive away, providing a wealth of cultural and scenic experiences.
