The inviting living space features bespoke wallpaper, a Georgian fireplace feature, and a charming window seat – the perfect spot to relax with a book or watch the world go by. A TV is also provided for your entertainment. There is a cleverly designed space to keep tea and coffee making facilities neatly organised within a dedicated cupboard, while a fridge is also available for guests' use, providing all the essentials for a convenient stay. The bedroom offers a comfortable bed dressed with feathered quilt and pillows and plush linens to ensure a restful night's sleep. Everything was good but would suggest putting a small sofa into the apartment instead of the chairs thought not big TV watchers ourselves some folks are and would be a lot more comfortable for people Other than that we had great stay Thanks Chairs would prefer a small sofa
The location was good, and we liked the quirky décor. The bedding and towels were lovely. Unfortunately, there were several practical issues that made our stay disappointing. The shower water flow was erratic, the TV didn’t work until we fixed it ourselves. The heating controls are in the owner’s upstairs flat and switched on at her discretion. The flat gets very little light so it was cold in the evenings. There was also no door on the bathroom, which meant very little privacy even though we are married. The owner lives directly upstairs, and we could hear both her and her dog moving around. One evening the owner went out, the dog barked and howled continuously for three hours until she returned. Most disappointing was the lack of help from Host & Stay who manage the listing. We sent multiple messages about the TV, heating and dog noise, but received very little useful assistance. We wouldn't stay again.
