property was in a great location, right opposite one of our favourite pubs. Even though you are in the centre of the village, because you are set back down a little pathway it was lovely and quiet. The whole place was really cute. It would have been nice to have a bin in the kitchen rather than just a black sack left on the side. There were lots of cleaning products but no washing up liquid, which would have been handy, there is a dishwasher but for the 2 mugs, spoons and wine glasses we used, it wasn't worth us putting it on. The only thing I really wish could change is the mattress on the bed, it was so hard and because it was foam it was very warm to sleep on.

The location was perfect and the apartment was an ideal size for 2 adults plus a dog. The apartment was tired and several things were broken when we arrived, toilet seat, towel rail. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the apartment, it looked like in some places it hadn’t been cleaned for months, cobwebs, mould, slime and general dust and dirt. We did report this straight away and sent photos and to be fair they offered to get the place cleaned but we were only there for two nights so it wasn’t worth it. This apartment wasn’t cheap so we would have expected much better. Less of a problem but still worth noting, there was no kitchen roll in the kitchen and the dishcloth was a scruffy bit of scouring cloth. The owners of this place need to do better.
