Just a few minutes walk from the cottage you'll find the beautiful pebbled Rottingdean Beach which offers invigorating Undercliff walks plus stunning sea views from Molly’s Cafe.
The perfect all year round destination without the crowds of busier locations!
Rottingdean’s seafront and historic high street are home to a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and takeaways, to suit every mood and taste, from sun-up, to sun-down, (such as the lovely welcoming Sea Spray Cafe!)
With a number of pubs to choose from, including Rottingdean’s oldest, Ye Olde Black Horse which dates back to 1513 and The White Horse, with its unrivalled location and sea views, there really is no reason to venture further. A brilliant place to stay. Private, clean, warm and welcoming. Everything we needed was in the unit including tea, coffee, cooking accessories. Convenient location for everything including buses. And even though it did not have private parking, there was always space around the pretty duck pond. Dale was an excellent host I would definitely come back again again.

This was really very nice. Cosy and quiet. We chose Rottingdean just because it was convenient to visit our son in Brighton. Didn’t anticipate what a lovely place it would be - would definitely return.

We stayed here for a few nights whilst visiting relatives and found it very convenient and cosy. The weather was freezing but the heating kept us and our dogs snug and warm. Although it is small, good use has been made of the space so it works well. It is exactly as described and well equipped. The location is great, right in the heart of Rottingdean with coffee shops, food stores and pubs on the doorstep and of course the sea is a few minutes walk away. The host is responsive, answering queries promptly. We would happily make this our base again for future visits to family.

I was here for almost two weeks and enjoyed it very much. Great location generally. A plus was that it was set somewhat back from the back road which meant it was peaceful and quiet. It's close to supermarkets, independent coffee shops and bakeries, pubs and the beach, under-cliff and countryside walks. Getting the bus to and from Brighton is super easy. The property is well-equipped with everything you need for a longer stay, and, always a consideration, had a proper, sturdy bed and mattress for a good night's sleep. To top it off: it's really pet friendly with a small but excellent court yard. All-and-all, I highly recommended this for single professionals or couples. I'll easily go back.

Perfect location, right in the heart of Rottingdean village. Loved being able to walk down to the seafront so quickly each day! Very comfy bed, the private courtyard has a lockable gate which was great as I had my dog with me. Host was super responsive to any questions I had. Nearly always managed to park nearby at the pond area, only had to park a couple of roads away a couple of times. Overall very enjoyable stay ?

The property is a tiny studio, with no door to the bed area. The glass roof is disturbingly noisy if it's raining, and too hot if sunny . Cant see the tv for the sun.Handyman came into the patio unannounced, even though the gate was locked.

What an absolutely stunning hidden gem. Nicely secluded and quiet, but also super convenient for all the village amenities and the beach. Really nicely presented and light - felt like a large and spacious beach hideaway - and the pitched roof sky light is stunning. Super friendly and efficient communications. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Beautiful little place in Rottingdean village with beautiful duck pond round the corner as well as The Rudyard Kipling Gardens. Very near to walk to the famous windmill. Lovely sun trap on the patio. You have the choice of sea or The South Downs within very short walking distance. I would definitely stay again as it is a charming little place and in a good location and easily accessible. I travelled there from Brighton by bus. The property is well stocked with kitchenware. Nice bath and very powerful shower. Good comfy layout. The hosts were great, friendly and prompt with communication and quick to rectifying any issues.
