The Space
Enter Stone Cottage by the front door into a little porch leading to a lobby and a separate carpeted sitting room. It’s here you’ll find a two-seater sofa and armchair, occasional tables and lamps, along with a TV. There is an original feature fireplace with an electric log burner effect stove and large window to complete the space.

A fully fitted cottage style kitchen with dual aspect windows, offering a washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric oven with a four-ring hob is available at Stone Cottage. There is a seating area with a dining table, chairs and bench seat, and you’ll also have access to the patio and garden from the kitchen.

In terms of outdoor space, there is a large, paved area with outside furniture to enjoy the warmer summer evenings. The garden is fully enclosed and has planted borders, along with steep steps leading up to a lawn area which steps up the hillside. It was a 5 minute drive from Swarling Manor where the wedding reception was being held

The key safe left us with black hands. The children next door wake up too early (nothing you can do about that)

Great location and really helpful host. A lovely selection of essentials / treats welcomed us on arrival and we had everything we needed.

Not really anything we didn’t like.
Our only comment is that the pictures didn’t really give a true impression of how lovely cottage is….!
