The place has been newly renovates but done cheaply. No pots or pans in the kitchen and we had to run the oven for a while to get the new oven/chemical smell out. The kitchen chairs had not been tightened properly and were wobbly. There was building stuff left behind. The carpet tacs were sharp and sticking through the carpet in the stairs. All round not great.

Within easy walk of city centre.

The house was clean but quite basic. The bathroom upstairs became more of a wet room after using the shower. The downstairs bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t shut properly. The carbon monoxide detector was bleeping due to a low battery when we arrived. There was no obvious way to replace the batteries so it was going the whole stay.
