The place was clean. The maintenance team failed to arrive and solve my problem, the room was very cold even when the heater was on.
Pros: Walkable to both the train station & city centre. Milk already in the fridge on check in. Sainsbury's nearby. Friendly host. Smart TV. Good WiFi. Good shower. Easy check in. Cons: Floor dirty on check in. The miniature bin in the kitchen is neither use nor ornament. It wouldn't even fit one microwave meal tray inside it. Ended up just using a loose bin bag. The flat needs a full length mirror. There's plenty of wall space for one. The only mirror is in the bathroom and I don't like to keep my make up in the same room as a toilet flush so it made the morning make up routine awkward! The flat was freezing on check in and every night when I got in. I asked if there was a way to set it to come on before I got in from work, I was told yes via the controls on the heater. I explained those controls were inaccessible behind a screwed down plastic box and was there an alternative way, but got no reply. The flat warms up after 3 or 4 hours but was always cold when getting in at night.
