The Georgian Quarters at Bedford II and III offers two stylish apartments in one building accommodating six guests in total. Perfect for family retreats, getaways with friends and corporate stays, the two cosy apartments each feature a modern kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living area ensuring a comfortable stay for all. Nestled in Liverpool’s historic Georgian Quarter, you can enjoy charming cobbled streets whilst being just a 20-minute walk from the city centre.
The Space
If you're looking to stay in a quaint neighbourhood while remaining within easy reach of the vibrant city, then look no further - The Georgian Quarters at Bedford II and III is the perfect base for you! With two apartments located on the first floor of the same building, you can enjoy good company with your group while also ensuring privacy after a long day out.
The first unit is a one-bedroom apartment featuring an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a wardrobe for your storage needs. The living room also boasts a sofa that converts into a bed, accommodating either one adult or two children—allowing the first apartment to sleep up to three guests. The huge windows brighten up the room and offer lovely views of the historic neighbourhood.
The second unit is a spacious studio with an open-plan layout combining the bedroom, living, and dining areas. The kitchen is separate, providing a dedicated space where you can enjoy cooking a hearty meal. The studio layout features a king-size bed that sleeps two, along with a double sofa bed that can sleep an additional two guests, comfortably accommodating up to four people.
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, including a microwave, kettle, coffee machine with milk frother, oven, and more. For your entertainment, each unit offers a large Smart TV, along with a desk that allows you to work or study from the comfort of your home-away-from-home accommodation, or simply use as a dressing table.
Each apartment also has a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, standard-sized bathtub, WC, and wash basin.
The Georgian Quarters at Bedford II and III offers both a homely and spacious feel, with its Georgian-style tall ceilings and stylish interior design. Additionally, the double-glazed windows help reduce any noise from the street, making it the perfect stay for both an exciting and peaceful getaway.
Neighborhood
The Georgian Quarter is known for its lovely period buildings, cobbled streets and its quaint and friendly neighbourhood.
It is also only a short stroll from magnificent buildings such as The Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Metropolitan Cathedral and The Philharmonic Hall.
Hope Street, home to some of the best restaurants in Liverpool is also just a stone's throw away.
The Georgian Quarter is perfect for walking, with plenty of options for dining, drinking, and relaxing. From traditional pubs to fine-dining spots, there’s something for everyone.
For a wider adventure, Liverpool City Centre is just a short bus ride away. From there, head to the iconic Liverpool Waterfront and explore The Royal Albert Dock or Tate Liverpool. If you’re a Beatles fan, Liverpool Central offers must-see spots like The Beatles Shop and The Beatles Story.
Getting Around
The nearest bus stop is on Catharine Street, just a 3-minute walk from the property. From here, you can easily catch a bus to Liverpool City Centre or travel out to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Both Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central Stations are around a 20-minute walk away, offering connections in and out of the city.
Taxis are also a comfortable choice on rainy days or if guests prefer a speedy trip to and from town and usually cost under £10.
If you're feeling a little adventurous, you can take one of the city's Electric Scooters to get you around town!
Guests have full access to The Georgian Quarters at Bedford II and III. The keys are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
Both units are located on the first floor, accessible via two flights of stairs. While the two units are separate, they are on the same floor and easily accessible to each other via the communal hallway.
The apartments are within a residential area, as such these are not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.
We are unable to host groups of guests under 25 at this property.
Two parking permits are provided for on-street parking, allowing space for two vehicles. Please leave the permits at the property upon checkout to avoid penalty fines.
A baby cot and high chair are available on request. Please send the request upon booking to ensure we can prepare one for your stay. A minimum of 48 hours' notice should be given.
