Perfectly central but incredibly loud!

The location was excellent for being in the centre of the night life area.  Photos taken from other flats within the building, which were misleading to the actual flat we ended up getting. It's all about expectation with loads of space for 5 adults then having a livingroom that had seating for 3 people.   Flat was passable and just that.

It’s very loud music playing outside all night. Bathroom and the shower was unclean. And bad smell everywhere.  

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Liverpool’s nightlife with fantastic bars and pubs on the doorstep. Early check-in and late check-out are available for an extra fee, which was a nice option.  Unfortunately, the positives end there. We weren’t informed that our group would be split across two separate apartments on different floors. The photos gave the impression of modern, stylish spaces, but what we arrived to was outdated and tired-looking.  Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, we found confetti under the furniture from previous guests and random items still in cupboards. Supplies were extremely limited: one toilet roll, four teabags, one bin bag, and no basic cleaning tools, even though guests are expected to leave the place tidy.  The Wi-Fi was almost unusable, as it’s shared by the entire building and couldn’t handle the load. Even mobile data (including 5G) struggled to connect due to the busy location.  To top things off, we were informed just days before arrival that we’d need to pay a non-refundable breakages deposit, which felt unreasonable given the worn condition of the apartments.  Overall, this stay was frustrating and disappointing. If you're just after a place to crash after a night out and aren’t bothered about comfort, it might do. But if you’re expecting a stylish, well-kept apartment in a great location, this isn't it. Not worth the money unless major improvements are made. 

Great location for nightlife, but disappointing overall

Nothing  Unfortunately, a number of serious issues during our stay left us extremely dissatisfied and caused discomfort and distress to several members of our group.  The following concerns need to be addressed: 	1.	Damp and Leaking Radiator: Upon arrival, one of the rooms had a damp floor with a strong unpleasant smell. This worsened during the stay, and we discovered the cause was a leaking radiator, which was releasing dirty, rusty water across the floor. The flooring became heavily soaked, and the individuals staying in that room have felt unwell since the visit. I have attached a video showing the extent of the issue. 	2.	Lighting and Safety Issues: Many ceiling lights throughout the apartment did not work, and the lamp in the front room was missing a bulb, rendering it unusable. We had a disabled guest with us, and the lack of sufficient lighting created a significant safety hazard. 	3.	No Response to Maintenance Request: We reported the issues to your team and were told that someone would attend the property at 10am on Saturday to assess the damp floor, lighting, and locks. However, nobody arrived, and we received no follow-up or explanation. We remained in the apartment until 12pm, so we did not miss a visit. 	4.	Faulty Bathroom Lock: The second bathroom had a faulty lock, which resulted in someone being locked in. This was extremely concerning and meant we were unable to safely use that bathroom door lock for the remainder of our stay. 	5.	Insufficient Toilet Paper: The apartment was advertised as accommodating 12 people, yet there was not enough toilet paper provided. We had to purchase additional supplies ourselves, which should not be the case. 	6.	Missing Bedding for Sofa Bed: The listing stated the apartment had 11 beds for up to 12 guests. However, upon arrival we were missing a bedding set for one of the sofa beds. When we requested an additional set, we were refused, which meant one person had no bedding for both nights of the stay. 	7.

Very central location  I booked one large apartment and one smaller one, but I got given three smaller apartments which wasn’t what I booked or paid for and the hosts didn’t communicate the change which left check in confusing and when I called to ask what was happening the staff were clueless. 

Great location, bring earplugs

Very good location for the main party area.  Could be noisy late on a night, but if you know the area you know what you are getting. 

Excellent location, clean and great price.

For the price we paid for a 3-night stay, this apartment fell far below expectations. The overall condition was poor, and basic standards were simply not met.  There weren’t enough dinner plates for four people, and the glassware was a mismatched assortment — just one wine glass, for example. We were left two dishwasher tablets, despite there being no dishwasher. Hanging space was provided but without a single hanger. The toaster only worked when I physically held the button down, which felt unsafe and clearly faulty.  The waterfall shower sprayed water over the screen and flooded the bathroom floor. The window latches were broken, posing a security risk, and the ironing board was unusable due to a broken catch. The bathroom sink was cracked.   The TV didn’t work, and we couldn’t connect any devices to the WiFi. I reported these issues and was told someone had been out to look — but nothing was fixed. I chased again and was told it would be investigated, but no one ever followed up. I had planned to work during our stay, but the lack of internet forced us to cut the trip short and leave a day  As if the long list of problems wasn’t enough, we were told just days before arrival that we’d be charged a non-refundable breakages deposit — a baffling request given the state of the apartment.  This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise against booking this property unless substantial improvements are made. It’s simply not worth the cost.  

Disappointing stay

Ideal appartment for a weekend with the lads/girls. Right in centre of the nightlife

Sleeps 16 only 3 cups !! Fridges dirty floor not cleaned , shower heads filthy lounge are dirty (glitter all over and bad stains on sofa ) glad we didn’t need it as a bed !!  And the noise is terrible till 4 in the morning as I had read it was noisy but no signs of it being above a late bar that shut at 4 ( not on the pictures of the place is there any signs of a bar )  Totally ruined the weekend as we had so many plans for the days out (early starts ) we were to tired we cancelled them !! Definitely would not recommend these apartments!!  

Horrendous!!

Great location for nights out. Everything we needed it to be.  Would only say that the amenities provided weren't sufficient for a place that sleeps 13. An extra shampoo and toilet roll here and there wouldn't have hurt.

Great place great locaiton

Stayed in Slater Street Apartments 1&2 Merge and 18A this year with a big group of lads. The Location was perfect you were right in the middle of concert square. No taxi required everything within walking distance.   The apartments were in good condition with plenty of beds for everybody. WIFI had no issues and regarding check in/check out everything was really smooth and easy no hassle whatsoever.   The location is very noisy as it in the middle of a lot of late bars so probably not ideal for people looking for a quiet trip but they do email after the booking to inform you of this in fairness and give you the option to possibly change location or cancel the booking.   Overall this location is an excellent choice for anybody that is looking for a central location to Liverpool for a trip with a group or lads or women. Caters for all group sizes and I could have very little no complaints about my stay here.  Location is not for family stay or people looking for a peaceful trip. 

It was also our 2nd year in a row staying here and I have no doubt we could be back for a third.

Nothing  Everything the guy from host and stay was getting us to look for another doorway to see the sitting area  The property was nothing like the picture on internet  Was discussing even host and stay guy was shocked 

This was the worse place I have ever been to

The property is next to a very noisy nightclub which plays music until 5am. This is not mentioned anywhere in the advert for the property. Other problems we encountered: - a noisy beeping fire alarm in the entrance way - a blockage in the sink which caused flooding in the kitchen and a disgusting smell throughout our stay - only four mugs for a property that sleeps 12 - dirty marks on the floor and bedding  - a sign in one of the bathrooms telling us not to use it - one toilet roll provided per bathroom 

Noisy, unsatisfactory stay, would not recommend.

We went for an event over 2 nights so location was perfect central to everything Close proximity to lime street station. Spacious for 4 people comfortably. Beds were comfy although as we were 2 couples would have been nice to have double beds rather than singles.  We would stay again if the issues detailed here are all addressed. It was noisy at night but wasn't a problem for us as we were there for nightlife.  Sadly the heating wasn't working for the duration of our stay on the coldest weekend of the year and it was unable to be fixed. It was fixed just as we were checking out then it was lovely and warm.  Extraction in the bathroom was poor causing lots of condensation. The fire alarm kept going off and it was going for over 2 hours on one occasion we had to leave the building.  Only 1 toilet roll provided and small sachets of toiletries it would be nice to have sufficient for the number of people staying. Basic kitchen essentials were missing there were mish mash of glasses only 2 plates no baking trays. We bought lots of food but struggled to cook it causing  alarm to go off again due to grease o  the oven where we had no baking trays. Then we couldn't eat together as not enough plates. Freezer door wouldnt close if turn fridge up everything freezes in fridge.  All relatively minor things other than the heating which could easily be addressed. 

2 couples partying in Liverpool

The area is sound and it was a good little apartment but not what I was expecting  I booked one whole apartment and got two so I needed two sets of keys and the Wi-Fi and signal was absolutely terrible felt like I was back in the 90s or 00s

Terrible experience, it had not been cleaned when we arrived, dirty bedding on the floor in each bedroom, broken glass on the floor, I tried to contact them and kept getting automated messages back. Managed to get in contact with them, and they said they would resolve the issue, but I got a message at 6 in the evening saying they couldn't clean it that night and then the phone lines weren't working. Which meant we had to find alternative accommodation for 14 of us in Liverpool. I'm not happy at all. Avoid this company. Thankfully, I got a full refund, but they didn't compensate for food we couldn't eat since we were going to eat in that night, but we had to eat out instead or the huge inconvenience and stress it caused!  

Awful experience!

The location the apartment was clean comfortable  had everything you needed. Office staff very friendly  The window latches in our room were broken, the shower tray flooded quickly but that was caused by a trapped bottle cap. 

The rooms, bathroom and landing in the apartment were were nice Cleaners didn’t rush us to leave  The outside landing needs work lol, kitchen area looked better in pics

The room was reasonably clean.  Too loud, the toilet is inadequate. The curtains were falling off the wall.  The noise was horrendous. Stating it’s a lovely area is different from a night club going on until 4am.  The cushions on the bed were dirty. 

Had a great time in Liverpool. Wil not be staying in those apartments ever again!

Clean, functional  One three seater sofa for 10 people. Couldn’t sleep due to the noise outside. Revellers till 4 and then cleaning to 6am.

Fik aldrig udleveret ekstra dyne til trods for jeg rykkede dem for det hver dag i de 4 dage vi var der. De blev ved med at skrive til mig om vi ikke måtte ryge eller skylle noget ud i toilettet, Tilbage holdt 200 pund i 14 dage efter vi havde tjekket ud, hvis noget var gået i stykker.

Comfortable apartment in a fantastic location for going out! 2 minute walk to a lot of pubs/nightclubs.  Clean and spacious apartment with comfy beds.  Note, it was very very noisy at night, but we didn't mind at all as we were going out!  

Fantastic location for nightlife

The staff were thorough and providing everything we needed to check in smoothly and the heating, TV, wifi etc was easy enough to work when needed. Furnished well.  Pictures are deceiving. Doesn’t look exactly the same. It was not just noisy at night it was horrendously noisy, luckily we were drunk and it was late but you felt like the club was in the living room. You could do with new windows to help that as the windows were very old and had gaps.  Also ironing board was broke & there wasn’t enough toilet paper for us. And the mirror in the living room is pointless. Just put a normal mirror there for people to use whilst they’re getting ready. 

Ok Stay for Parties/Groups

The nose until 4am. The apartment was a little grubby could do with fresh paint. Mattress wasn’t the best.

Great location & comfy bed  Additional fee thats not mentioned before you can get the keys. Balcony door was broker. Spare keys were missing. Had to ask for door and key box codes. Couldn’t find the WiFi/password. Place could do with a better clean. 

Centric location and nice flat. Can be problematic for light sleepers. Nice and quiet during the day. Comfortable for small group. Attentive hosts. Has nice amenities.

Clean and tidy when arrived  We had a bit of an awful experience where we had someone walk into our room the one evening. Found thesecurity was quite poor as the bottom door into the apartments was often open.   The kitchen facilities despite saying fully equipped was not. There was 1 fork, 2 pot lids but no pots, and limited other things to cook. 

A bit disappointing, the person walking in was scary.

Should be only for people who wants to attend nightlife. The music was super loud from 11 pm to 4 am every day. The pros is that it is very central, and easily accessible. 

Absolutely amazing location, and everything within a short walking distance. Bars and clubs on our doorsteps literally in one case as the queue for baabar was outside the main doors. Was not very clean apart from bed linen and towels. We had to clean the glasses and cups ourselves and was not hoovered properly.  Weird cooking smell and a leftover lip gloss lying about as well. But would stay again.

Great location for nightlife.  Is extremely loud at night, you won’t be getting a sleep. 

Great apartments  Noise levels around the apartment, rules you are told to be quiet in the apartment from certain hours, but yet outside noise is going till 4am makes no sense 

The Location was ideal. Lime Street Train station 10 minutes walk. Concert Square is next to the apartments. Plenty of places to eat and it was ideal to host a large group who were over for the weekend. Would have no problems booking again as I could not fault the facilities for a big group. There is a taxi rank just below the apartments too to travel to the airport or any destinations that maybe outside walking distance.  I would not have many complaints to make about my stay. I would just point out that the apartments are only ideal for a group who are over to go out for the weekend. If you are looking for some peace and quiet I would probably suggest staying else where as the streets can be quiet busy with noise into the early hours of the morning. Based on my experience here I could not fault anything other than it being quiet a noisy location but the property contacts you and makes this known once you book so you get plenty of notice.

The apartments were useful for a hen party. They had plenty of space and the location is very central which worked well for us  The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Some things didn’t work, like the sofa bed in one of the apartments, or the light switch for the bedroom, or the door handle to apartment 6 (it actually fell off). There wasn’t sufficient amenities, such as toilet roll, washing up liquid or bin liners. Just basics you would expect in a self catering apartment. The apartments are right next to a street of bars and nightclubs so it was extremely loud at night which isn’t much of an issue on a hen party but some of our guests didn’t sleep at all. I also had a really difficult time with the company regarding our booking with lots of errors on their side and mixed messages, so I found the whole thing quite stressful. 

Overall did the job but I wouldn’t book again. Tired and in need of a big dose of TLC!

Good place if you want place there to can go out all night. Plenty of bars and restaurants.  Third floor so definitely not suitable for older person.

Sehr gute Lage für das Nachtleben alles gut erreichbar

Het was echt een super goede locatie, midden in het uitgaansgebied van Liverpool. De host had al aangegeven dat het een drukke straat is, en dat klopt. Voor ons ook prima, want wij waren met vrienden en hoeften niet vroeg op. Het is een mooi en gezellig appartement en alles was goed en schoon.  De bedjes in de kamers waren vrij smal, dus wel echt voor koppels. De bedbank is wel groot. Verder was de communicatie goed, veel informatie, maar af en toe zelfs te veel informatie. Meer dan twee berichtjes met alle info is wel voldoende. 

Goede locatie in Liverpool!

Location was good in terms of how close it was to the nightlife and everything else.  Far too noisy - we knew it was going to be loud but was too loud!  The beds were uncomfortable  The apartment stunk of damp and mould when you walked in.  One of the showers didn’t work, another one the tray filled right up when using it 

Good location if you’re a group out drinking, but very loud and not amazing

toilets were nice, showers were nice but the bedrooms are way too hot and humid - all the sheets were damp because of this.  the space isn’t very comfortable, the beds aren’t that comfortable as you can fee the springs  the biggest issue ofcourse was the noise, unbearable. 

For £862 between 14 people, you can’t go wrong for it.

Location and accomodation  Some other guests set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night, we had to wait outside for 2 hours for the host to show up and reset the alarm. 

Slow host response

Very central location, good for a weekend away in Liverpool.  In a very noisy area so not suitable for a quiet weekend away. Was made aware of this before we booked. Clean and comfortable apartment. Easy check in with good instructions. Was perfect for a 2 night girls weekend away.

Ideal location for nightlife  The apartment was very basic and even the sitting area was uncomfortable. Some of the beds were broken and all of the mattresses were very old with springs poking out of them. Also, the noise levels were ridiculous as the building has old fashioned windows with no sound insulation and you are literally meters from several night clubs. Even with earplugs it was very difficult to sleep.   There were also a lot of fruit flies in the kitchen.   If you are staying just to enjoy the night life and going out late then this might be fine but this flat is not suitable for anything else. 

Very loud and uncomfortable

Perfect location, walking distance for all bars/ clubs / shops. Check in and out was easy and house was cosy.

Location is great if your there for a few nights of partying. Right beside the bars and clubs.  The noise. If you want to sleep then do so during the day because there is no sleeping until 5am 

Nice and close to all the bars but the second night we stayed was a nightmare and none of us got any sleep because of the noise  The pull out bed didn’t work so 2 of us had to sleep on the uncomfy sofas and had awful nights sleep 

The apartment was spacious & clean, clubs and bars are right on the doorstep. I had a brilliant time with my friends for my 30th!! 100% recommend  

Incredible location, right in the middle of all the nightlife. The loud music does go on until the early hours of the morning but we were there for the nightlife so it was right up our alley, if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in Liverpool it might not be for you.  Great sized apartment with all amenities, the toilet is a little bit temperamental even with just toilet paper and it’s a LOT of stairs but the location made it all worth it. The hosts were also excellent and were very responsive. There was an extensive manual sent pre check in that made everything very easy, we couldn’t figure out how to open the sofa bed even with the manual it was like it was getting stuck but the hosts offered to send someone out to set it up for us. We ended up not needing it but it was great that they were so responsive. I would definitely book again on our next visit.
