Property Details

The Space
Apartment 3, Jackson Court has a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining room. Ideal for socialising and relaxing after a busy day, this space is welcoming and homely.

KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
The modern kitchen features high shine cabinets in grey and black metro tiles. Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, microwave, oven, hob and fridge freezer. Cookware, dishes and cutlery are also provided for your convenience. Also sharing this space is the dining area which features a wooden table and six chairs so there is ample space for your guests.

LIVING AREA
Comfortable and homely, the living area benefits from a large sofa, two armchairs and a flat screen TV. The perfect place to retreat to, you can unwind in this space. Turn on the Smart TV and watch your favourite shows on the TV apps or relax with a good book.

BEDROOM
Head to the master bedroom and you'll find a tranquil space. Boasting a double bed with plush bedding and premium bed linens, you will enjoy your sleep in Apartment 3, Jackson Court. Bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a mirrored wardrobe complete the room. Ideal for younger ones and solo members of your party, the second bedroom is home to single bunk beds.

BATHROOM
The bathroom in the apartment is modern and clean. A bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin complete the space.

Apartment 3 is part of a three-apartment complex called Jackson Court, sleeping up to 12 guests. If you are looking to book a stay for a large group you can reserve Apartment 2, Apartment 3 and Apartment 4, and enjoy exclusive use of the building. Please contact our friendly team with your preferred dates for availability and prices.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Marske-by-the-Sea is a delightful village located on the North Yorkshire coast, less than 10 minutes from Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Redcar.

The village square is packed with independent businesses, including cafes, pubs, micro pubs and restaurants. Nearby is Marske Valley Gardens where you can explore walkways lined with beautiful flowers. Head to Marske Sands and you’ll find a long stretch of gently sloping sandy beach.

The famous Cleveland Way snakes its way across the cliff tops and along the beach to Saltburn and beyond.

Neighbouring Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a great place to visit during your stay. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
You can also find popular villages and towns such as Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby further along the coast.

Getting Around
Jackson Court is within walking distance of all that Marske has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Staithes, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Marske Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Marske. Hop on the Arriva X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby.

Close to the beach, easy to find, easy parking, dog friendly, good sized kitchen and living room, comfy sofas, felt right at home!

Apartment 3 Jackson Court felt like home as soon as we arrived, we knew it was on first floor in advance. The kitchen & bathroom were modern. All rooms adequately equipped. Plenty of information was supplied by host and stay in advance. Towels & all bedding included as were gas and electric. Parking was always available. Would happily stay again.

The location of the property is within walking distance of all the local amenities and the beach. In a quiet residential spot with easy access, knowing Marske well, it was perfect for us. Unfortunately there was no WiFi throughout our stay, and this was tricky as I required internet access for my work laptop. The washing machine was also left half full with water from the previous guests, and they had also left half-used food. <br/>The flat was clean and relatively quiet, and there was plenty of room for two adults and a toddler on an evening. <br/>There was just enough room to pop a travel cot in the second bedroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. <br/>Marske is beautiful and as I have family in the village, I was able to make use of their houses and the local amenities without issue.
