Exceeded expectations. Perfect set up for dogs and people. Enclosed back garden with small lawn and spotlessly clean accommodation.

There isn’t loads to do in Marske, but it’s a lovely walk to salt burn along the beach, or a short train ride to salt burn or Redcar. Great location as it was lovely and quiet. The only downside of Marske is that a lot of places are only open back end of the week to Saturday.<br/>The property itself was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed as a small family with a dog.

A return stay and we still rate the property highly. It's a good size and located in quiet street with easy access to shops in Marske and also to the beach which ls lovely and fantastic for a large active dog. The house is comfortable and mostly well equipped. The fact both bedrooms are en suite is big plus for a family stay. <br/>A coffee machine with pods and Yorkshire Tea bags available in the kitchen very welcome. <br/>We would stay again.<br/><br/>There were a couple of things we have noticed on our stays. <br/>There is a downstairs toilet, but there is no hand towel left in it and no hand towel in the kitchen either and that is not good enough. <br/>The kitchen had no salt / pepper, no kitchen paper, no washing up liquid, no brush or washing up pads and a only single bin bag. These things are usually found in the kitchens of rental properties, if only left by a previous guest, and the absence of them all felt intentional. <br/>The matrass on the double bed is a bit saggy now.

Loved the house, a few bits of crockery needed washing before we could use them. The t-towel was very stained. We had no soap in downstairs toilet and only one hand towel for the whole house and no bath mat. Guest relations did offer to bring some over but it didnt seem worth troubling them with only a night left. <br/>Overall, well laid out, great location. Don’t like being charged £25 for insurance as I would imagine they have there own accidental damage cover and therefore making money as no option not to have it.

This house really lives up to its name! Great property , clean, tidy, comfortable, and well furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break here and would definitely recommend it. Great base, just a 15-minute or so walk to the beach.<br/><br/>All good. Liked everything.

Lovely property in a great location close to all local amenities. Was just what we needed. Disappointed at having to pay the last minute insurance premium and the two week delay in receiving a refund.

The TARDIS is a small lovely holiday home. Marske is a super village by the sea, with great eating places and easy access to the surrounding area and attractiond. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiz at The Ship. <br/>The facilities in the TARDIS were good, although the pillows and mattresses were not to our preference so none of us slept terribly well. This was compounded by the bedroom window blinds not blocking a great deal of light out.

Great little place which has more than enough room for me and my friend. Ideal for sharing with 2 en-suites (and WC). <br/>The garden was perfect and it backs on to a local football pitch. No football on when we were there but we would have had a great view from the back room. <br/>Kitchen was stocked with the essential cutlery, crockery and pans. There was tea, coffee etc provided but it didn't last the entire stay. Luckily there is a co-op a short walk away in the town.<br/>The town itself is about 10-15mins on foot with plenty of pubs/eateries although we struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Monday so check opening/serving hours if you're going midweek. In the end we went to The Mermaid which was around a 20min walk which seems to be open for carvery (and other food) all the time and allow dogs in the bar area and outside. <br/>The nearby Zetland was a great pub and we felt welcome by the owners and locals. There are loads of fab walks in the area a short drive away. <br/>Great stay all round!

Thank you for a really comfortable stay. Fantastic location, accommodation very clean and really well maintained. Served us perfectly for visiting some friends locally. Would recommend. Only additional feedback would give is that there wasn’t enough cutlery and plates. 4 of us stayed however there was only 3 sets of knives/forks and dinner plates which was slightly disappointing. Overall would recommend and thank you for having us.

It was perfect for us! The kitchen/lounge area is great for a social evening in, comfy stools and comfy sofas made it a great space to relax in. Comfy beds too!<br/>The local area offered lots of places to go and we were close to the beach which is what we wanted. Immaculately presented throughout. We would definitely return and I’ve already recommended to family and friends.

This is our second time staying here and once again we enjoyed our stay. Lovely local dg friendly beach dod cafe and local pun. Enjoyed the pub quiz on Thursday evening. Lovely walk on the dog friendly beach to Saltburn. The ship inn at Saltburn does some good food deals

Been to maske a few times with my partner now as he is from Redcar but must it has been the best trip. Being doctor who nerds were better to stay than the tardis and trust me it was bigger on the inside. Most definitely be booking again 10/10

This is a superb house. Although it is small, it never felt it. There seemed to be lots of space! Everything was top quality, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. <br/>The digital information pack was brilliant and very comprehensive. <br/>The kitchen was amazingly well equipped with everything you could need, and the most beautiful wine glasses! Little things like non-stick pans that were non-stick and not scratched. Kitchen knives that were actually sharp. A vacuum cleaner that works properly. etc These things show an attention to detail that is evident throughout the property.<br/>The bathrooms were modern and had wonderful toiletries and soft, fluffy towels. <br/>Not only would I stay at this property again, I'll look at Host & Stay the next time I want a holiday property.

We have stayed at this property before and I must say that we love the property it is light and brightly decorated and in a good location. It`s quiet yet you feel like there`s things going on around you. We would recommend staying here.<br/><br/>Having stayed here previously we noticed that the complimentary items weren`t stocked up as before and the general cleanliness was not as good as before but not dirty by any means. Having said that there`s nothing beyond the trivial that I could fault.

Lovely house in a quiet surroundings. Easily accessible to the beach, shops and restaurants. <br/>Walked to Saltburn by sea along the beach which is beautiful and the dog could be off lead all the way. Even used the cliff railway which is a great sight.

Clean bedding and bathrooms. Some dusty places in the house. Extra toilet downstairs useful. Good to have parking off the road. Bedside lamp in twin room didn’t work. Reported it immediately but not rectified. Huge clock in main room not going. Quiet location.

The Tardis was very clean and all amenities were in the house. The area was quiet and quite close to the beach. Plenty of space for the two of us and our dog. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and would recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location and the property was perfect for us.

We stayed for 3 weeks, as we are currently between properties, the Tardis is a real home-from-home. Everything we required was provided and the garden was perfect for our dog. It was quite hot during our stay and we would have liked to sit outside, out of the sun - a parasol or awning would have been beneficial. The host, Mark, was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Marske (beautiful dog-friendly beach just 10 minutes walk away) and the wider area. Saltburn and Whitby are within easy reach as are the Moors. If you need cool/shady walks, then Errington Woods and Flatts Lane Country Park provide great walks with free parking (Flatts Lane also has a visitor centre which provides hot/cold drinks, snacks and ice cream). We will certainly return in the future.

The house had everything you needed like a home from home, was ideally located for what we needed as we know the area well.<br/><br/>Good clear communication from the host for arrival which made check in seamless.<br/><br/>Only a personal view but we felt the main room bed needed a good mattress topper or new mattress as it felt very springy and resulted in disturbed sleep during our stay.<br/><br/>Otherwise very well kept home.

Online viewing I saw a very nice property but it was exceeded in reality. The facilities were great with everything you could need. Seriously impressive water pressure in shower and when running a bath no drop in shower power or temperature fluctuation. A quiet location within easy access of main road.<br/><br/>I couldn`t quite fit my Range Rover on the drive. The rear lawn had just been mown and grass cuttings weren`t picked up so when dog went out he brought grass in on his feet. An 11 o`clock check out would be better. Just little things nothing that would deter me from staying there again.

Good location within minutes walk / drive to the beach which came in useful having 2 dogs & a toddler! For the price we paid it was good value as we couldn’t fault the house.

Lovely well equipped house; I’m sure that we will return.

Location<br/><br/>The cleaner needs sacked ! Toilet seats hadn’t been cleaned, urine underneath seats. Bath full of soap scum !<br/>And inside the oven we’re two dirty greasy frying pans .<br/>I wouldn’t stay here again .

A warm, comfortable and well laid out little house. Great to have the bath and the shower! Well located for the local shops and not too far to the lovely beach. We were here to visit family who live locally, and will certainly stay here again next time we are in the area.

I liked the fact that it had 2 bathrooms and it was pet friendly. It had everything we needed even though we took our own tea coffee sugar etc. Also the garden was secure for our dogs. It was good to have a car parking place on the drive.<br/><br/>I wanted to check in earlier than 4pm to get our bearings before it got dark but this wasn’t allowed even though no sign of cleaners on the property when we arrived. Also when I booked the check out time was 12 and this got changed to 10am.

We were visiting because I had a training course in Middlesborough, so my fiancé, 8 week old baby, and dog came to stay as well. She enjoyed the easy walk to the beautiful beach, and just behind the house there was a park for the dog. The house was very warm, cosy, and there was even a Christmas tree in the lounge on our arrival, a very nice home from home touch. We would also recommend the bakery around the corner for their delicious cakes! We would definitely stay here again, if we ever visit the area in the future.

My sister and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Tardis (we were visiting family in the area) everything was just perfect! No problems checking in, the Tardis was very clean, warm, comfortable and homely with everything you need... and to have 2 En-suite bedrooms was such a bonus!. We also had a small dog, the small garden was perfect for her, enclosed, clean and safe. We will definitely be looking to stay here again when in the area, highly recommended, thank you!

This house was perfect for us. <br/>Its in a quiet residential area that felt safe and it was close to the areas we were visiting. It was very clean and tidy. The information provided was clear and helpful. <br/>The garden was secure which was great as we had our dog with us. There was plenty of space for his crate and he seemed very settled in a new environment. <br/>We did not have any issues at all and would stay again in the future. <br/>We also very much appreciated the milk in the fridge. <br/>Thank you for a lovely stay!

Modern accommodation with bright comfortable furnishings. 5 minutes from the beach, local shops & eateries.

We had a lovely stay at the Tardis, everything we needed a real home from home. Great location with easy access to the beach and shops. Nice to have a garden in a quiet location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again when we come up to visit our son at university.

Great place with a lot of cosy features that provide a warm welcome and take away the need to bring loads of stuff from home. Was especially grateful for all of the cookware in the kitchen. <br/><br/>My main complaint is with the price, but I guess that's just the going rate today. I think 4pm is incredibly late for a check-in time when the rate is what it is. <br/><br/>The beds were on the uncomfortable side but the Dorma pillows and duvets made up for a hard mattress. <br/><br/>Shower was great, local amenities and seaside accessibility were fantastic and the TV/Wi-Fi were great too.

everything was amazing location 5 mins from shops pubs beach. 30 mins approx from Whitby runswick bay sands end robin hoods bay Pickering. Very comfortable beds amazing en suite and everything you could want in the kitchen area. Nice little driveway at the front and a lovely little garden at the rear.<br/><br/>Only a little nit pick but it was a bit chilly in the evening but couldn’t get heating sorted think it was on a timer turned thermostat up like it said came on for a bit the first night but after that didn’t come on. Wasn’t too bothered to ring up and find out why but if weather was any colder then we would have.

This lovely house is well decorated and located in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to the beach and busy tourist places. Would like to have a nice stay again.

House was clean and tidy, self check-in was easy. Really good location in Marske with easy access to other locations of interest, especially with train station being a short walk away.<br/>I do feel the price I paid for 2 nights was very expensive. Main criticism is that the house doesn’t seem to built very well. We were woken up both mornings by excessive neighbour noise, with doors and windows slamming and creaky floorboards. I probably wouldn’t stay again for that reason.

We had a great 3 nights stay. The property as clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Five minutes from the beach which was lovely. Had a lovely walk on the beach to Saltburn and back. Close to shops, cafes and pubs. plenty of places to visit close by.

the tardis was an amazing holiday for us and our dog, lovely peaceful area with plenty of places to go to that are dog friendly within a short distance. the property itself was lovely with all u could need , plenty of space for us . very clean and met the owner after a few days there who was lovely and welcoming. Great base for exploring we visited red car, whitby and saltburn by the sea and owl centre in Kirkleatham. all amazing would definitely book again. thanks for an amazing holiday. leanne, Ricky and Freya. x

Really lovely house in a great location, really enjoyed our stay. Communication was good and they even had a folder of suggestions of local places to eat/things to do. Only downside was how pushy the superhog contract notifications were which weren't actually necessary to sign.

Very clean and cosy house. Not too far a walk to Marske beach which leads to a great walk to Saltburn....takes about 40 mins. Would recommend this quiet location with breath taking views over the north Yorkshire coast line.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was just as described and was maintained to a very good standard. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend. We loved the 2 mile walk along the beach to Saltburn.
