DO. NOT. BOOK. THIS. PLACE! I HAVE NEVER LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON AIRBNB OR ANY OTHER PLATFORM, BUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS SEVERE ENOUGH THAT I FEEL COMPELLED TO WARN OTHERS. I booked this property for three weeks but had to leave after just four nights. From the moment I arrived, there was a persistent, horrible smell throughout the flat. Then came the infestation of flies. Despite repeatedly cleaning, using bug spray, and ensuring there was no food waste or other obvious cause, the problem continued and worsened. I contacted the property managers about the issue, but they consistently said they would defer to the owners and never treated the matter as urgent. I eventually escalated the matter to Airbnb and provided photographs and videos documenting the conditions. After reviewing the evidence, Airbnb terminated the remainder of my booking. Looking at the most recent reviews, I can see my situation was not a one off at all.
Main entrance door handle was completely broken off aswell as rubbish everywhere. Our room door key was attached to a metal wire in the lockbox meaning you couldn’t actually take it off? And of course to lock the door from the inside you need the key as there’s no buttons or thumb turn, therefore you can not lock the door and had to leave it unlocked for anyone to just open whenever. Customer service was rude, pretty sure we weren’t even speaking to the actual person, we’re just told constantly that maintenance will be noted? Wouldn’t recommend, not worth it at all.
