The property inside was clean and well presented. The view from the sun room off the kitchen was fabulous. A short, easy downhill walk took us straight to the seafront and pier. It was a shame the cliff lift wasn’t working as it meant we had to drive our elderly relatives up the steep winding hill to access the main shops, cafes etc at the top. First impressions on collecting the key at the front door weren’t good as there were huge weeds and a dead conifer surrounding the door. Previous guests had let their dog use the small lawn as a toilet, so we were pleased we didn’t have children with us. Inside, the microwave was rusty and the upstairs shower was blocked and in danger of overflowing if you kept the shower on for long. These issues were reported, so hopefully resolved for the next guests. The property is currently sold subject to contract, so new owners may help too. The sun room has no blinds, so unbearable on a sunny day, but useable late afternoon/evening.

Always loved this property, been coming yearly with family, apart from covid year, since 2018. Really hope it’s been sold to someone, who will still rent it out
