Ideal location, a short walk from the seafront and handy for the shops. We have holidayed in Saltburn before with our dogs, and this little spot was ideal - we did not have to negotiate any stairs with them inside the property. Good heating and well planned compact accommodation. As others have said, this is pedestrian access only down an alley, but the '10 foot' is well kept, there is street lighting and the hosts have kindly provided torches, if required. Try and arrive before dark and you shouldn't have a problem. We were able to street park on Garnet Street, but this was out of the main holiday season. Saltburn is a popular place, so you may have to walk a little further in peak times. The local SPAR shop has a wonderful butchers and cake shop. A lovely card shop down the road - Holly Blue, and a proper guitar / music shop too - amazing! The property was ideal for our purpose and we would stay again. The spiral staircase was a little awkward to ascend with a suitcase, but no impossible, Just don't bring the kitchen sink! Towels were perfectly adequate, but I do like to snuggle in a thick towel after a shower, so perhaps a little upgrade there? Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk provided for that initial cuppa, but you must bring salt & pepper and cooking oil with you. All good.
