Property Details
The Space
Emerald Beach House is a stunning three-storey terraced property carefully curated with style and comfort in mind. Boasting outdoor space with sea views, a spacious living room, separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, plus three bedrooms, there is ample space for all occasions.
On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room, dining room and kitchen, along with a downstairs WC.
Upon entering Emerald Beach House, you’ll be welcomed into the beautiful traditional hallway and living room on the left-hand side. Benefiting from a large bay window, this bright and airy space is perfect for relaxing. Fire up the Aga log burner in the winter months and cosy up on the sofas watching your favourite shows on the flat screen Smart TV.
Traditional in style, the kitchen includes a table and benches to offer more dining options. It boasts many amenities, including a Rangemaster cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher and kitchen aid. Emerald Beach House is fully equipped for self-catering stays.
Enjoy meals with your loved ones in the dining room which consists of a wooden dining table and comfortable leather chairs and another Aga log burner.
Take the traditional open stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms, a bathroom and separate WC. The bathroom includes a beautiful copper bath and walk-in shower. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and plenty of storage space, while the second bedroom boasts a double bed. Both bedrooms have a tranquil feel and premium bed linens to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Both bedrooms also include smart flat screen TVs.
On the second floor, you’ll find the final bedroom oozing luxury with a freestanding copper bathtub. Wooden beams and sloped ceilings give offer a traditional vibe, making this space really special. The bedroom includes a comfortable king-size bed and freestanding copper bathtub. Leading off the bedroom is a separate walk-in shower WC and sink.
Outside at the front of the property, there is outdoor space which boasts a bench and views down towards the North Sea. A real treat in Saltburn, there is also a small private outdoor space at the rear of the property in the form of an enclosed courtyard.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Neighborhood
Emerald Beach House is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.
Located in the heart of the town, the property is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.
Emerald Beach House is close to all local amenities including independent shops, bars, restaurants and bistros.
Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. If you fancy a 17.5-mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!
Getting Around
Emerald Beach House is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, York, Leeds and Manchester.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the X4 route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and the town of Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.

Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.
A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Emerald Beach House per reservation.

Unimpressed with Host & Stay who seem only interested in maximising profit from guests - require a £25 damage fee which is heavily caveated or a deposit with £10 admin fee deducted. We were told the house didn’t have WiFi so we hired a mobile router, but then on arrival we noticed that the house does have WiFi but they choose not to give access to guests. Unlike everywhere else we’ve stayed there was no welcome pack at all - not even a pint of milk & for 6 people staying 5 nights we were left with 2 dishwasher tablets. The location is good but the property falls short for the cost. The kitchen is dimly lit & the shelves & cupboards are so cluttered there isn’t space for guests to store their groceries. First floor - two very nice double bedrooms & a decent (if slightly shabby) family bathroom. The top floor has a big bedroom but hardly any storage & a miniscule bathroom with a tiny basin & NO HOT WATER!!! In summary, Emerald House is a mid range property charging high end prices.

Accommodation was lovely there was 3 generations on our holiday the youngest being 6 months, the house is lovely with everything you need. Walking distance to the beach & town.

Close to sea . Comfy sofas<br/><br/>Lighting on top bedroom poor difficult to see in the wardrobes as dim lighting. No tv aerial so only catch-up on lounge tv. <br/>Kitchen cluttered and worktops need refurbishing as wood is unsealed and unhygienic

We spent a wonderful weekend here at Emerald Beach House. The house is beautifully decorated and very thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering. The bed was extremely comfy, shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. After two nights out at the fabulous local bars and restaurants, we spent a cosy night in by the log burner watching Netflix and drinking wine. The location is fabulous, very close to the beach and all Saltburn has to offer. We loved walking along the beach and pier and dining at the Spa Hotel; fabulous Sunday lunch. We will definitely return in summer with family.

Wow, what an amazing place this is ! This holiday home is a great find to spend a few days away with friends or family. The owner has thought of everything for a relaxing chilled out stay. A fabulous spacious house with 2 log fires, and spacious bedrooms as well as a well equipped kitchen. It’s also dog friendly which is perfect as there is a beach to walk them on that’s only minutes away. We will definitely be returning. www will definitely be recommending this property to our friends.

Emerald house is the most perfect place for a family and friends get together. Everything is impeccably stylish, it felt like utter luxury! And the location is simply outstanding, just a few stops and you are on gorgeous saltburn beach. We loved all the lovely little cafes and shops and restaurants nearby too! Can’t wait to stay again very soon…
