The Space
The living room at Sundowner is spacious and tastefully decorated. Perfect for quiet nights in and relaxing in front of the TV, you can spend quality time with your loved ones in this space. Alongside the comfortable living area is the dining area which includes a traditional style, round dining table with four chairs.

The kitchen at Sundowner is a bright space, fully equipped with a wide range of appliances, cookware, dinnerware and glassware. There is also the added luxury of a dishwasher too!

Sundowner has two bedrooms, both of which feature king size beds. Both bedrooms feature plenty of storage space in the form of chests of drawers and bedside furnishing. With plush soft furnishings and bedside lamps, these rooms are relaxing and calm spaces.

The family bathroom is located on the main hallway. A modern space with patterned tiles and flooring, the bathroom boasts a walk-in shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

An ensuite is also available in one of the bedrooms and features a WC and basin for your convenience.

Double doors from the ensuite bedroom lead you to a private, beamed patio area, ideal for letting the fresh sea air flood in while enjoying your morning cuppa in peace.

Neighborhood
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Sundowner is a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.

There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.

Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.

Getting Around
Sundowner is within walking distance of Scarborough town centre and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.

Scarborough Train Station is a short 15 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
