The Space
With high ceilings, a large bay window and crisp white walls, Thamesview has a bright and airy feel. Whether you’re visiting for work or leisure, this stylish studio apartment is both functional and comfortable.

Perfect for relaxing, Thamesview has a cosy living area with a modern sofa and flat screen TV. If you plan on working during your stay, there is also a desk and office chair which is the perfect laptop friendly workspace. There is ample storage space in the built-in wardrobes provided.

Expertly designed, a double bed folds out from the built-in wardrobes transforming this space into the bedroom. Plush bedding and premium bed linens ensure you have the most comfortable sleep possible.

Ideal for self-catering stays, Thamesview has a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include an oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided as part of a welcome pack.

Neighborhood
Just 15 miles from Central London, Staines-upon-Thames is a popular market town in Northwest Surrey. Located on the banks of the Thames, this vibrant town has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars on offer. There are two shopping centres in Staines-upon-Thames - Elmsleigh and the Two Rivers - as well as a bustling high street so when it comes to shopping, there’s plenty of options to choose from.

When it comes to eating, you’ll have your pick of big name restaurants as well as independent local eateries. Some of our favourite picks include Three Horseshoes in Laleham for delicious locally sourced food and Momo Cafe for incredible Japanese cuisine.

If you’re looking to explore during your stay, you’ll find a number of lovely walks in the town. Head for a stroll along the Thames Path, visit the Memorial Gardens or follow The Colne Valley Park walk. You can also hop on a boat trip and explore Staines-upon-Thames via the water.

Staines-upon-Thames is also home to Spelthorne Museum which has a number of interesting archaeological findings. From the Roman era to prehistoric discoveries, this fascinating museum is worth a visit.

Getting Around
Staines-upon-Thames is just 15 miles from Central London so you are ideally placed to visit the city. There are plenty of trains to London with lines to all major towns and cities from there.

The location was perfect, ground floor was good and enough space for my dog to be able to relax comfortably The pillows on the bed were flat and hard. The freezer was iced up so much that the door couldn't be shut. I did defrost it which took 24hrs and the door to it still didn't shut which is really frustrating

The place was exactly as described. It really felt like home, we had everything we needed. Only 5 minutes from shops and restaurants, and the river view. Definitely recommend it :)

Thamesview has a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, with a comfortable, modern studio bedroom/lounge. Our hosts communicated clearly and often during our stay with helpful hints about the area. Staines Rail Station is 10 minutes walk away with links to central London or Windsor. The property is located by a railway line and main road. However, night traffic is minimal, so we were largely undisturbed by noise. Thamesview faces west so warmed very quickly in the day, but heating controls were also clear, although unneeded. Broadband was clearly signposted, as was the Smart TV. The kitchen/bathroom equipment, e.g., crockery was tidy and clean. It ticked all our boxes, so we will certainly consider it again.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks when we first moved to the UK while we looked for a place to live. This flat is well-located and very walkable. When we needed to extend our stay by a few days when our move-in date to our new apartment didn’t line up with our check-out, the property management company that hosts this place was very accommodating and responsive. A few areas of improvement - * The furniture is uncomfortable, especially the bed & the sofa. * There is a washing machine, but no laundry detergent so you’ll have to buy your own. * For our 2 week stay, we were provided with 2 toilet rolls so again, we had to buy more on our own. * The knob for cold water in the kitchen was wobbly. We said it was fine for our stay, but just in case it isn’t fixed in the future. Overall, it was a good home base to start our journey in the UK. It was by far the most affordable long-term AirBnb we looked at, but you do get what you pay for in terms of amenities.

We were very happy staying at this beautiful location. They had a very spacious listing and it was apt as mentioned. However, the issue with this property were: 1. This property had remains of the previous guests which were not cleaned enough. 2. Given that our stay was for 11 days, hosts were not ready to provide the mentioned amenity for rest of the trip. It was there only for one day. The response from the host was "If I had it booked multiple times for the same duration, you would have got it." This was quite absurd. 3. There were sheets for the bed which were not clean enough and a small blanket had a hole in it. It smelt too. 4. In Kitchen the small almirahs were not clean. 5. Lastly, the tap in kitchen was dripping all the time. The tap's ball was coming out in hands and needed some repair. My issues with the properties were largely due to the cleanliness of the property. Given that there is an upfront, one time payment, for cleanliness, I expected it to be cleaner.

This is a well equipped apartment which was within easy walking distance to the train station and local shops and restaurants. We only used it for sleeping in but the kitchen had everything required for cooking. The pull down bed was comfortable and laundry was clean and fresh smelling. The smart tv was a bonus. Host response was quick when we had an issue with cleanliness on arrival and arranged for the cleaner to return.

The rental was larger than expected with a full kitchen, bathroom, and living/bed room. Easy access to the town and trash as well. However, the apartment was filthy upon our arrival. Mouse droppings, dead bugs, food scraps, and hairs literred the entire place.

The place is exactly as shown. Excellent host, very fast response time, and helped us when needed. The area has walking distance shopping centre and restaurants which was very resourceful. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Thank you!

property was well situated and had all amenities inside. We did not appreciate the resident upstairs walking around and hoovering from 5.30am on a Saturday morning. The bed was a fold out with no head rest and there was no toilet roll. We were only informed that we would have to wash towels if we used them after we made the booking. The deposit situation was very frustrating too. Booking.com need to know that a deposit is required and the customer needs to be informed of this before they make the booking.
