The Space
With a museum setting and lots of historic character, Potters Cottage is a unique holiday let in the North East. Sustainably designed and wonderfully executed, this stunning cottage has a traditional but homely look. Potters Cottage is built in Georgian style, featuring furniture and items from Beamish Museum's collection, and is located in the stunning 1820s Landscape.
Potters Cottage features an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The hub of the home, this cosy spot is ideal for unwinding and socialising. The beautiful sage green kitchen is equipped with all the essentials including modern appliances and cookware. You can enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which includes a wooden dining table and chairs.
The cottage also offers a TV in the corner of the living area for entertainment. Sharing the living space is a leather sofa and matching armchair, all surrounded by charming, exposed ceiling beams.
Head to the bedroom and you'll find a striking space with a vaulted ceiling and a traditional four poster double bed. Coming in the form of an ensuite to the bedroom, the bathroom is home to a free standing bathtub and handheld shower, plus a wash basin and WC.

The closest train station to Beamish Museum is Chester-le- Street where you’ll find regular routes operating to Darlington, Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Huddersfield, Leeds, York, Manchester and Liverpool.
Three bus services operate to and from Beamish Museum to Chester-le-Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Stanley and Washington.
