An attractive detached Grade II Listed brick farmhouse, Paradise Farm has plenty of historical charm within its walls, plus it occupies a south facing position. The house, which has been modernised, provides well-proportioned family accommodation enhanced by the impressive full-length attic room with exposed beams. The farmhouse has plenty of space for relaxation and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, ideal for a tranquil countryside getaway.

Property Details

The Space
The farmhouse kitchen has tile flooring and a large range of floor and wall units, including a stainless-steel sink unit and granite worktops. There is a Rangemaster 110 cooker with five ring electric hob and integral fitted dishwasher.

A utility room adjoins the kitchen and houses the washing machine and has a separate door to the rear terrace.

From the kitchen there is an open archway leading directly to the dining room. The dining room again has a beam ceiling and open fireplace with marble surround.

The sitting room is a well-proportioned room with log burning stove within a marble surround together with an additional raised seating area with an oak feature frame adding character to the room.

The stairs up to the first floor lead to a central landing off which is the master double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and ensuite shower room with underfloor heating and tiled walls.

There are two further double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a house bathroom on the first floor. The bathroom is tiled with bath, WC, basin and walk-in shower.

A second staircase leads to a large full length attic room with beamed ceiling offering potential for a variety of uses. By default, the space is set up with Yoga mats.

There is an enclosed lawned garden to the south of the house beyond which is an orchard area with attractive trees and a grass paddock alongside which is an established orchard strip.
