The North Yorkshire Moors Railway also operates from Whitby Train Station so you can visit the market town of Pickering, along with the countryside villages of Goathland, Grosmont and Levisham. A number of bus routes operate in Whitby offering access to Guisborough, Leeds, Loftus, Malton, Middlesbrough, Scarborough and York.
