Getting Around
While public transport options in Brassington itself are limited due to its small size and rural location, there are still ways to access nearby towns and attractions. Although Brassington doesn’t have its own bus station, there are bus stops located around the village, and local services connect Brassington to nearby towns and villages. Bus routes from Brassington are often infrequent, but they provide access to Matlock, Wirksworth, and the wider area.
As Brassington is a small village, taxis are one of the more reliable ways to travel to and from the village, particularly if you're traveling with luggage or a group. There are several taxi services in the region that can be booked in advance or hailed locally, the more local companies include Matlock Taxis and Derbyshire Taxis.
