You’ll find an abundance of beautiful countryside surrounding the villages making it perfect for walks and photography. If you’re interested in fishing, the River Coquet runs along the village and parts are considered a fishery of National importance. Felton is located in the historic market town of Morpeth. Exploring the cobbled streets, you’ll discover independent shops, cosy pubs and High Street favourites. If you’re looking for a full shopping experience, head to Sanderson Arcade and you’ll find an array of stores as well as cafes, beauty bars and markets. When you want to get your hands on the best local produce, Morpeth’s popular Farmers Market takes place every first Saturday of the month in the marketplace.

Kids play area but even that needed a update Safety wasn't there. Site was a building site. Pub near caravan is a tiny building so if raining you be lucky if you can sit inside. Shop on site yeah few bits but nothing to shout about so if you have a long drive to get there take food with you as you be lucky if you can get in the big site. Washing machine broken Hot tub needs a update Pans and baking trays on floor in cupboard and they were either filthy or rusty Kitchen tap hanging on for dear life and a loose screw placed in the gap. Cupboard for your clothes in the main bedroom has painted ladders and hoovers and lots of other bits in it so nowhere to hang your nice clean clothes when you have had to pay a fortune to use the outside washing machines on site. The part of the site this caravan is on is definitely not the nice side be warned. And worse of been ignored when you do put a complaint in. I have more photos I could put on.

The location was right for our purpose. It was peaceful. We didn't have enough towels. The washing machine was not in use even though stated on booking, there was an outside lpop-up laundry instead. The single beds were small, the double bed was hard. The wi-fi worked but the smart television was very hit and miss, even trying to change channels. The microwave and cooker were horrendous.

Very comfortable & welcoming The smoke alarm was beeping upon arrival. Had to take the batteries out. Only 1 small pan & only 2 teaspoons. There were a few cobwebs.

Butterfly lodge is great,, if you want peace and quiet, the hot tub is super, the setting on a small burn is lovely, Everything you could ever need for cooking and cleaning is supplied. Free Wi-fi. No real facilities on site very basic shop/pub so make sure you take all food and drink you require with you. The neighbours were a bit noisy at times.

Good location. Clean and comfortable. Hot tub dirty and difficult to remove cover. Very dangerous with rusty screws sticking out, never got to use what I paid for. For all the above reasons I would definitely not recommend.

The location was perfect for us, very quiet and relaxing. Caravan well equipped. Lovely break away. There was dog poo underneath the patio chair, the frying pan was so old and worn out everything stuck to it, the largest pan was really dirty, the plastic jug was stained, the bedding was old and bobbly. The decking had plenty of green mold and was quite slippery when wet getting to the hot tub.

We found the property cozy , had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Had difficulty gettiNg the lid off the hot tub as had no lifting mechanism and had to be dragged onto the decking Some of the pans could do with being replaced

It was very clean. Bathrooms immaculate. Everything you needed was there. Lovely welcome basket. Private hot tub and seats on decking. It was in a quiet spot on the site. The site is extremely central for exploring Northumberland. Nothing I didn't like.

Location was good and lodge was comfortable. Received email to say shower head was missing in one of the bathrooms - someone had been but couldn't mend it on the day we arrived but no-one came back. Shower in other bathroom didn't fit into holder. Was supposed to have Wifi but wasn't available

Location is on a quiet holiday park that is central to the main areas of interest in Northumberland. The lodge overlooks a small wooded area and a stream at the back of the property, which makes it quite private. There is a small bar/pub on the site which does beer, breakfasts and meals. The holiday park next door (Felmoor) has a large American style "Crazy Horse" bar that serves good food and beer. This is walkable from the lodge across a small bridge and a flat field. The hot tub was lovely and hot! - very relaxing after a long day walking along the many dog friendly beautiful beaches located within a 20 minute drive. Getting the keys was easy, there is a coded lock box on the outside of the property. Wifi isn't great but this is understandable it being located on a quiet park, but EE phone reception for data was adequate and kept the kids entertained.
