Excellent, from the point we moved beyond - they were abiysmal!

The cottage was pristine, tasteful decor, comfy beds and there was everything we needed for a weekend away.
The location was great, a very short walk into the town centre and some gorgeous walks along the river nearby.

Lovely cottage which was spotlessly clean. A great location to be able to walk into Barnard Castle and drive to other attractions in the area. I would highly recommend it.

Had an excellent weekend at this cottage and would highly recommend. It was immaculately clean, so well equipped with gorgeous decor. Great location and lovely and peaceful. We really didn't want to leave this cottage it was perfect

Beautifully finished house freshly decorated with lots of nice touches. Great little gate garden for the dog and Barnard Castle is a great town.

This property is finished to a very high standard. Immaculate throughout!
Great location near the castle, river and centre.
Great Central location in the middle to travel around Teeside.
Even dog towels/ blankets.
A beautiful hamper greeted us with fresh orange, milk/tea

25 pound waiver needs paying before but I can understand wanting to keep this property respected !

Castle View Cottage lives up to its name, just across the bridge from Barnard Castle and across the road from the river Tees. It's really quiet and cosy inside. We never heard any traffic noise or neighbours. Our pup Lizzie loved sleeping by the fire and exploring the fully fenced back garden, not to mention the long walks in the woods along the river. Wonderful place, highly recommend it.

On the day we left the owner/cleaner parked right in from of our door which made things difficult. Luckily we had packed our own car earlier so we did okay. If she had parked in the allowed spots it would have made a difference.

Great property and great stay.

The property is in a great location.
Recently refurbishd to a high standard and tastefully decorated.
Very well equipped.
