The property and the owners were very accommodating and helpful. I was very disappointed with the service providers host & stay. I was unable to contact them having not received an email with the key code. Had to wait outside in the cold in a secluded area, alone as a single woman, in an unfamiliar place. Very dissatisfied with the service provider. On a second occasion of staying at the property again unable to contact host & stay, left with no heating over night. No one came back to me. I called again late morning the next day to be told, nothing logged on host & stay system. The lady told me it must have been her friend who took the call, who had now finished her shift, but she would now log it. I had to call again later (a third time), finally a man was helpful and managed to put me in touch with the owners direct, who rectified the problem immediately. I booked host and stay numerous times for my work assuming it would ensure a quality service & peace of mind for myself incase I required assistance. Very poor service….

fully informed about arrival and departure procedures and easy access to key code. Layout was good inside flat, Apartment arrival pack was good. scenery outlook was lovely No hot water in the mornings for showers, this was luke warm, toilet roll holder was loose and few cobweb around ceiling and lights. Communal fire alarm went off for a few seconds in the evening, it was quickly cancelled by the host who I believe burnt something and I do however believe the host should have made contact with us to inform us what had happened

Honestly the space was so beautifully decorated and the view was serene in the mornings. They provided us with utensils/kitchen equipment and the rest of utilities were paid through the starter package. We were a group of 4 and we had enough space to sleep and chill in the sitting room. You can go out for nice country walks around the area towards Morpeth, but would advise against it if corn flies are active. We loved the owner, Maureen, she was so helpful and gave us intel on which places to visit- she was very kind to us and we spent a night chatting through her artistic pieces she made herself! So beautiful, please do check them out if you can :) It was a nice place to rest from the busy city life we had going on. Will definitely stay there again! This location does need a car to get to places but this was not a negative on the property. However, you do have to pay for a starter pack with the host company (independent from the owner) and one toilet roll between 4 ppl was not ideal. You are able to get more things if you ask the lovely owner downstairs though, so it wasn’t too bad!

Property is in a tiny hamlet situated amongst pastures and farmland, half a mile outside of the town of Bedlington. There is no traffic or urban noise, with lovely views across open countryside and a balcony with table+chairs that opens to the afternoon/evening sun. Nearby town centre has 3 supermarkets plus various pubs, shops and restaurants, all about 5 minutes drive by car along good roads with plenty of free parking. Property interior is spotless and well maintained with all furnishings, bedding and fixings in excellent condition. The bathroom/toilet serves as a shared en-suite for both bedrooms which is particularly useful when adults/children have different bedtimes. Host lives in a completely separate part of the property and is friendly and helpful but not intrusive.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Paddock. It’s in a very central position to explore beautiful Northumbria while being in a quiet and peaceful location in the countryside. Our host Maureen was very friendly and helpful. The Paddock was clean, decorated beautifully and suited us very well. There were a few kitchen items which Maureen provided when we asked for them. We would highly recommend the Paddock as a place to stay. Jim and Anne

The location was good for accessing Northumberland, and in a quiet location. The owner was very friendly, as were the horses grazing in the field opposite. The bathroom is large with a great shower, although the chrome on the sink was stained and could have done with being cleaned more thoroughly. For a start, we had to complain because some of the towels and pillowcases had nasty stains (mud and what looked like blood?) but they were replaced promptly. However, the interior is "tired" and a bit grubby, and the kitchen facilities very limited. For example, there is only one small 2" sharp knife so it is not possible to cut bread or really prepare meals. We did ask for a bread knife, but were told that only basics are supplied and a bread knife not considered a bread knife. Also there was nothing to prepare fresh coffee in, but we bought a cafetiere from a charity shop and hopefully it is still there. Finally, be warned: although there was no mention on Booking.com's page, they took an additional £10 "administration charge" from my credit card when I paid the damage deposit and have refused to refund it.

I can't say enough about this beautiful apartment with kitchen and views. Serene and grand. Lovely hosts, accommodating and friendly. Immaculate. Maureen's artistic flare shows in the color scheme and decor.. A joy to be here! So much so that I came back a second time!!
