Property Details

The Space
This expertly designed home spans across three levels and features a living room, a dining room, a large kitchen, three bedrooms and one main bathroom. Stylish and spacious, Park House is a well-equipped home, in a beautiful location.

The living area features two mustard yellow sofas, an armchair, a flat screen TV and a coffee table. This thoughtfully decorated space is perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring Blyth and Northumberland.

The dining area is home to a table for six, along with a separate comfy seating area and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV.

Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals during your stay. Amenities include an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster.

There are three comfortable bedrooms in the property. You’ll find a double bedroom on the first floor, and two king size rooms on the second floor.

The double room has a feature fern green back wall which is complemented with a contrasting yellow headboard. This cosy space is complete with ample storage space in the form of bedside drawers and hanging space.

Sharing the first floor is the family bathroom. Featuring a bathtub, separate shower, wash basin and WC.

There is also a separate WC on the ground floor at Park House.

Head upstairs to the second floor and you’ll discover a further two bedrooms. Both boasting king size beds, these rooms are spacious in layout with calming colour palettes. Snuggle up in the luxury linens and enjoy a restful nights’ sleep.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Neighborhood
Park House is located in the seaside town of Blyth on the Northumberland coast. From the long stretching sandy shores lined with colourful beach huts to the bustling port and quayside, Blyth is packed with charm. After a day at the beach, we’d recommend heading for traditional fish and chips.

Originally built in 1929, you can visit Blyth Bandstand on the promenade where live music and events are often held or the lighthouse which was originally built in 1888. If you like to do a spot of shopping, head to the market place and browse the stalls selling local foods, textiles, plants and gifts.

For lots of family fun, we’d recommend visiting Ridley Park which is a beautiful well-kept park with a water play area and cafe.

Getting Around
Blyth is within 50 minutes drive time of Newcastle and Tynemouth, as well as popular Northumberland towns and villages such as Alnmouth and Alnwick.

The closest train station to Blyth is Cramlington which is roughly a 10-minute drive away. From Cramlington, there are routes from Newcastle with stops in Morpeth, Alnmouth and Chathill.

There are a number of routes through Blyth. Hop on the Arriva X7 which goes to Newcastle upon Tyne with stops in Cramlington and Gosforth.

Spacious, quiet, clean<br/>Convenience store 50 yards from the door.<br/><br/>On street parking , a large van was parked across the front throughout our stay!<br/>Property does not have a dish washer.<br/>Tripping on the grooves on the kitchen floor

Lovely house, beautifully furnished and well-equipped. Communication was excellent. Not the most picturesque of towns, but near a beautiful beach and handy for visiting surrounding area. Residential area, near a park and fairly quiet, given it was on a road. Near a good swimming pool and if you enjoy running, there’s a great route from house along the coast - path all the way to Seaton Sluice.

Good size house for us - 6 adults and an infant. Bedroom sizes were good - 2 really big and 1 standard. Separate dining/living room was great with an infant. Beautiful decor. Plenty of parking and a great park at the end of the road. Communication was great throughout with useful information. Utensils - oven glove and frying pan - needed washing before use.

The decor throughout the property was modern and nice. Easy to get keys.<br/><br/>The property was very dirty, in particular the kitchen. The cupboards inside and out were filthy, the utensils (pans, cutlery, glass wear, coasters, table mats etc) so much so that we didn't cook anything during our stay. Also after booking I received an email from Host & Stay advising I needed to either pay £25 non-refundable waiver fee, or provide bank details for them to hold a £250 deposit of my money for up to 2 weeks after my stay.

Convenient location lovely little park at the end of the street for the kids "Ridley Park" also just a short walk into town, tastefully decorated, comfy beds, decent shower. Has good WiFi no issue with all the kids devices etc.<br/><br/>Garden needs clearing up, could be made into a nice (beach / seaside) themed courtyard. More towels could have been provided and some mugs that fit under the coffee maker. Issue particularly with children both door locks were tricky and both boys got temporarily locked in the toilet / bathroom maybe a thumb turn lock with a flat head turn on the outside to release would be better.
