The Space
Perfectly suited to its peaceful surroundings, The Granary has a tranquil and relaxing feel inside. With a bright interior and tiled flooring, the open plan living, kitchen and dining area feels modern and homely. The living area features two comfy sofas either side of a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV.

The kitchen has white cabinets and smooth wooden worktops. Both stylish and functional, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave and toaster so you’ll have everything you need for your self-catering staycation.

Perfect for entertaining friends and family, the dining area is an island with industrial style leather and metal barstools. Ideally situated in the open plan space, it is a real focal point within the house for socialising.

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a double bed and a single bed. Head upstairs and you’ll find the second bedroom which includes two comfy single beds. The rooms have en suites, both of which boast showers, wash basins and WC’s.

Outside, the cottage has its own private patio which leads into the central Mediterranean-style courtyard and common areas. The central feature of the courtyard is a 200-year-old Olive tree set in a raised circular flower bed. You’ll find designated private garden areas within the courtyard with private patios surrounded by raised flower beds, each with an abundance of shrubs, seasonal flowers, and palms. Dusk till dawn automated exterior mood lighting to set the scene around the grounds.

Neighborhood
Grange Farm is situated on the beautiful Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast at Sewerby, mid-way between the seaside town of Bridlington and the quiet fishing village of Flamborough, as well as Bempton Village with its world-famous RSPB seabird colony.

Sewerby is Bridlington’s premier coastal village. Head to one of the most popular attractions in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Sewerby Hall, which is a grade 1 listed building and also home to the Museum of East Yorkshire.

Within the village, you’ll find The Ship Inn serving freshly prepared food throughout the day and a popular beer garden with brilliant sea views. If you’re after a refreshing drink in the summer then Blu Savannah is the place to go for hot and cold drinks, as well as ice creams.

Sewerby is popular with walkers, and especially those wanting to visit Bempton Cliffs – a RSPB Nature Reserve which has been proposed for the UNESCO Geopark.

Head into Bridlington and walk along the elegant promenade or relax on the sandy beach. You could also choose to visit the historic harbour and take a trip on the Yorkshire Belle. If you’re travelling with little ones, they will love the seafront funfair and amusements. Donkey rides are also on offer in Bridlington.

For a touch of nostalgia, don’t miss the wonderful Old Town where Dad’s Army was filmed. The Old Town has managed to keep its quaint personality providing a delightful selection of shops and cafes.

Lovely place, very relaxing. Quiet and clean. Nice sofas and lovely kitchen area.
Has iron and hair dryer which was handy.
Lovely location for and would recommend for quiet couples break away.
Court yard is beautiful.

Very kind of the owner to give the children as Easter egg each. Lovely touch.

No pubs nearby, not the best if wanting to eat out on an evening or go out. Car needed!
Lacked in facilities. Better for a very quiet break as a couple, rather than a family.
No TVs in bedrooms, very cheap toiletries (Aldi).
For luxury accommodation I would expect much better.

Can't justify the price based on the the full price (we got a large discount due to pricing error).

The space is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay here. The main living space had the kitchen with big island and sofas which meant we could all be together even if someone was cooking. There were 4 beds - 3 singles and 1 double, and ample parking space off the main road. Location was good - you'd need a car to get around easily I think as there isn't much directly nearby.
The main downside of this property is that it's managed by a company rather than a real person who lives nearby and knows the property. We had to transfer a £250 deposit, along with a non-refundable £10 'admin fee' which I've not had to do for other airbnbs. Communication wasn't great - we weren't given a wifi code and when we asked for this did not get a response as it was the weekend. I would be concerned about getting in touch with a real person if you were struggling to check in, for example. I missed the 'local touch', but we would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean apartments.
We had the granary and it was lovely.
Owners even let us stay in for a few extra hours as dancing competition didn’t start until later.

Sent confirmation for wrong apartment. Walked in to find someone else in there. THIS WAS NOT DOWN TO THE OWNERS IT WAS HOST AND STAY AT FAULT
HOST AND STAY ARE USELESS they double booked us originally and then couldn’t get it right upon our check in meaning we had to wait for the owner to let us in.

Beds and pillows were very hard not the comfiest but the lovely kitchen was a nice area to chill.
