Located in the picturesque village of Corbridge, four miles from Hexham, Kenmore is a beautiful two bedroom terraced cottage with plenty of charm. The perfect retreat for small families and groups of friends, this cosy holiday home has everything you could need for a quiet getaway. With beautiful interiors throughout, a spacious living room, a fully-equipped kitchen-diner, and free WiFi Kenmore sleeps up to four guests and will provide memories to treasure.

The Space
Kenmore has a bright and roomy living area. With a fireplace amongst traditional exposed stone, it’s the perfect spot to cosy up and unwind. Relax on one of the blue velvet sofas and turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy a quiet evening in.
With stylish interiors, the light kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to prepare meals easily, including an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge-freezer. The dining area, also sharing the space, features a breakfast bar style dining table and four comfortable chairs, making it great for enjoying hearty meals with your loved ones.
Head upstairs to the master bedroom and you’ll find a comfortable king size bed with premium bed linens. Bedside tables, lamps and a wardrobe complete the space.
Also on the first floor is the second bedroom which is configured as a twin room, with two single beds. Pops of colour are added with the soft yellow furnishings and floral wallpaper. As with the first bedroom, you’ll find ample storage space for your personal belongings.
Spacious in layout, the family bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a separate shower. The bathtub is perfect for an evening soak after a busy day of exploring Northumberland. Keep your toiletries out of the way by making the most of the storage cabinet provided under the wash basin.
There is a communal green garden with a bench at the rear of Kenmore where you can enjoy morning coffees or take in some fresh country air in the afternoon.

Neighborhood
Kenmore is located in the village of Corbridge in the high uplands of Northumberland. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat in the countryside, this is the ideal place. Steeped in history, the village is home to independent shops, restaurants and bars, all of which are within a short walking distance from Kenmore.
A small Co-op supermarket can be found just around the corner from Kenmore, whilst larger stores such as Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl can be found a few miles away in Hexham.
Ideal for walkers and cyclists, Corbridge offers access to various beautiful routes nearby, and you’ll find part of the historic Hadrian’s Wall a short distance away.
When in and around Hadrian’s Wall, you can also walk through the Roman town's streets and experience a time-capsule of Roman life. Home to the Corbridge Collection, you can also discover Roman armour and trinkets uncovered with the Corbridge Hoard at the museum. The Hoard was one of the most significant finds in Roman history, providing us with a fascinating insight into the life of a soldier on the Wall.
Corbridge is also just four miles away from the charming town of Hexham which was voted England’s favourite market town by Country Life magazine. With great shopping facilities, local inns, restaurants and a buzzing arts scene, there will be plenty for you to discover. If you’re interested in history, head to Hexham Abbey which dates back to 674. For those who want a fun day out, Hexham has its own racecourse where you can enjoy the races and incredible views of the rolling countryside too.
Getting Around
Corbridge train station is roughly a 15 minute walk away from Kenmore. From here, you’ll have direct rail access into the Hexham and Carlisle in one direction, and Newcastle and the Metrocentre in the other. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
Both the Tyne Valley 10 and X85 bus routes run to Hexham and Newcastle, with a stop in Corbridge.

I had GREAT trouble opening the key safe box as it was a type I had not seen before and I have used others with no problem <br/>I put in the code correctly and pressed the only button the side that was visible to open the box but calls to 'Charlie' on the helpline turned out to be a woman with a VERY quiet voice I could hardly understand and was little help finished up asking for a photo of the box which I sent <br/>She kept thinking I had put the wrong code in and only after about half an hour trying my wife realised there were TWO buttons the box one on each side that had to be pressed simultaneously and one of these was not visible from the front <br/>A simple set of instructions on the drop down lid of the box would have avoided all of this, so good luck to the next person who tries to get in<br/><br/>Getting in!

Location<br/><br/>Only 1 toilet roll. When booking through <br/>Booking.com there was No mention anywhere about paying an extra security deposit, non refundable of 25 British pounds.<br/>If I did not pay it before arriving they would not give me the code for the key box. Ripped off.

The location is great for the centre<br/><br/>Not being able to get into the property or being able to contact someone. Calling the contact number to be told lines busy leave message someone will get back to you. After messaging and emails to receive a reply stating that we can not gain access unless we pay a security deposit of £250 refundable minus £10 after the stay or £25 non refundable damage waiver. After an hour and now £25 shorter i get through to someone and was informed that i should have had the codes sent and they then resent them . Not a single apology then or since. <br/>It is not stated in the description on Booking.com that once you pay the charge you then have an extra cost. <br/>This should be mentioned in the description regarding the booking and i would have thought this would be in the price as it is a more expensive property. <br/>I would not have booked if i had known

Corbridge a great place to stay, Kenmore in great location in middle of the village, shops and pubs in easy walking distance. Buses run from centre of village and railway station a short walk. Property clean and well appointed. Steep stairs might not suit all.

Beautiful little cottage at the heart of Corbridge. Nicely decorated and very well equipped kitchen.<br/><br/>It was cold when we arrived as heating is set to 15 degrees. Took a couple of hours to heat up.

the house is as the pictures clean fresh n modern .perhaps a little stark . It has all amenities you will need although it would have been nice to have a few logs left fir the wood burner or at least be told none were provided. <br/>It's a great central location in Corbridge easy parking and walking distance ti local shops bars and restaurants ? the parking pass was advice touch . <br/>It is clear an agencies runs this as slightly lacking the personal touches you normally get from hosts .and the £25 insurance or £250 refundable deposit is a bit cheeky ...but still lovely .

Homely, clean, terraced house in an excellent location. Couple of minutes walk to centre of Corbridge. Corbridge is a beautiful village with lovely shops, great pubs and restaurants and lots of places to explore nearby. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Lovely property, in beautiful town in Northumberland - nice large main bedroom and 1 shared bathroom also a good size. Parking was just outside the front door with the provided permit and we never had trouble getting a space. Lots of local recommendations. Beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. <br/>Did had to pay a security deposit of £25 or have them take a large (£200) hold on a credit card with a £10 admin fee - thought this was a bit excessive and cheeky as have never had this before on Airbnb possibly due to it being managed by a management company and them making back their fees.

Beautiful cottage, decorated to high standard, everything looked very new. Located in the centre of the village, was great to be able to walk to nearby restaurants, cafes and lots of nice independent shops to browse in. We enjoyed our short break here and wished we were staying for longer. Great information from the hosts with online pack in advance.

A very comfortable, clean apartment with a well equipped kitchen and a spacious utility. The beds were very comfortable and the main bedroom which had a rocking chair and a small settee was a lovely bright room to sit in during the day. I would definitely book this apartment again if i was visiting Corbridge.
