Concert Square

No ventilation, noisy all night <br/>Mould in the bathroom’s , living room carpet all filthy.<br/>The only window that opens was the living room. <br/>The windows in the bedroom’s not open <br/>Not double glazed windows it was hard to sleep at night, people creaming all night, until 6am in the morning, people fitting. It was horrible. Not recommend for family purpose.

Nice play to stay and great location. No hot water and apartment was freezing to the point sheets felt damp down to pure coldness.

Staff was a disgrace couldn’t even get into the apartment through the main door and when called the number the staff was so unhelpful and when I eventually got fed up of trying had to go try book into another hotel and then I was getting treating calls and text messages off the owner never again horrible experience

Very nice and clean apartment . Wifi included. can be very loud late at night due to all bars and nightclubs being very close. Think the heating was broken so was cold at times.

In the heart of concert square this place is of reasonable quality. Bathrooms were poor and could be better designed. Otherwise, reasonable size place. Just be aware Friday and Saturday night the walls are shaking until 6am.

Best place i have ever stayed in. All nightclubs, shops and restaurants we at our door step. literally walked 4 mins to the furthest shop. Every room was exactly what we expected and the whole layout for top notch.<br/>The only thing i would knock it on is small repairs needed around the place. 1 window does not open and the other is slightly damaged yet works. The front door needs looking at as you must push or pull the door enough while locking. very simple fixes and does not hinder user experience.<br/>If it was up to me i would make it my home.

Everything was fine, we had a great time a the apartment.<br/>The only thing I would say is that we couldn't understand the instructions for the key-safe, as it said that the code started with an 'A', although there was no option in the dial for an 'A'.<br/>So this took us a while to understand, but in the end we tried a few things and managed to open it.<br/>We will be back again next year, thanks!

Great place and central location

The apartment is located in a fantastic spot, and an ideal spot for nightlife. It was definitely worth what we paid for it.<br/>I would, however, warn anyone about the lack of sleep you will get here, due to the number of clubs and bars located around the apartment.

Went on a girls holiday to Liverpool and stayed in Host&Stays apartments. Was an ideal location for us as it was right in the city centre, everything was within walking distance.

The property was clean and had the basics of what we needed for our stay.<br/><br/>I had read there was street noise before booking however the noise was exceptional! Didn’t realise we would be completely surrounded by night clubs therefore there was no chance of sleep before 5am. <br/>Perfect apartment if you are out clubbing or partying. It wasn’t for us, a family group with children hoping to enjoy a few days in Liverpool.

Beds were comfortable<br/><br/>The property was very tatty. Broken window and furniture. Only 1 wine glass in cupboard. Rug filthy although rest of apartment was clean. <br/><br/>Location was dreadful. Above a nightclub, in between nightclubs, opposite nightclubs. This is not family accommodation. It is a crash pad for night clubbers. There was no sound proofing so Intolerable noise all night until about 8am. <br/><br/>Stairwell to apartment stunk of cigarettes and urine.

Terrible customer service<br/><br/>As a reasonable person who travels regularly, i have never had to leave a review such as this, ever. Happy to take our £800 with an inflated price due to St Patricks weekend but not happy to accommodate a reasonable change or partial refund when unforeseen circumstances meant travel plans were not possible. A very large deposit is also expected which is payable a fortnight in advance for some reason.

The apartment was fine, nothing special and it was relatively clean and easily accessible. The real issue is the noise. There are 3 nightclubs attached to the same building and 1 across the street. All are extremely popular with the university aged population and the noise was considerable through the night from the evening until 7am. Do not stay in Concert Square unless you anticipate never sleeping during your stay! If you plan on staying up through the night than this is the most place for you and it’s not even close.

Spacious and allowed group to be all together. Central location. Very short walks to shops and bars<br/><br/>Literally surrounded by nightclubs that don't close to 6am so when In bed feel like ur in the clubs very noisy. Double glazed windows should help a little. Tho some windows already broken and don't close

Flat was central and bedding and towels were clean. Beds were comfortable.<br/>Host and Stay were excellent.<br/><br/>Not enough chairs. No bins in rooms or toilets. Freezer compartment in fridge frozen solid. Inside fridge door missing. Broken window. Broken glass table. Mould around showers. VERY noisy until 5am. Bedside lamps unusable due to position of plugs. Showers lukewarm.

Nothing<br/><br/>Apartment was in very poor state shen we arrived window broken window latches not working flooring in need of replacement never mind a good cleaning sofa was in poor state with rice krispies lying behind & down cushions.plus glass table with cracks all over it whole Apartment needs a good make over & deep clean.<br/>I actually hurt my back as I opened sliderobe in bedroom it came off in my hands & these are heavy glass doors not wanting it to fall & smash is when I hurt my back leaning to keep hold of it.<br/>Dirty cups & dishes just put back in cupboard but the noise was probably the worst thing 3 nightclubs within 100 ft of Apartment that went onto 5/6 in morning was horrendous.<br/>Went for a break with friends now need a break from this so called break.

nice place if you are partying, (like us) clubs all around<br/><br/>would have been nice to have dining table. some of us had difficulty to get in, you have to remember 3 codes.

Awful. Broken windows and black mould with a bath tub that was falling away from the walls and broken flooring and furniture.<br/><br/>Awful

Very central location in Liverpool but very close to the busy nightlife. We were there with our 3 kids who are 22, 20 and 18. Ideal for them… not as ideal for mum and dad. Music from nightclubs and bars can be heard during the night.

Since the apartment was not cleaned when we checked in, our reservation was cancelled after 4 PM for a 3 day stay - with 6 people sitting in a restaurant - having no plan on where to stay.<br/><br/>Luckily AirBnb-support helped us find a new place - not in central Liverpool and not available until 10 PM later that evening, but that place was quite good.

The apartment was scacious with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms which is what we were looking for.<br/><br/>The apartment was freezing cold when we arrived. We didn't have time to try and sort it out the first evening as we didn't have a lot of time as we had prior arrangements. I had to manually turn the boiler on which slowly heated up to heat the living area and one of the bedrooms but the other three were freezing cold. <br/>Some of the windows didn't shut properly which made it even colder. <br/>I didn't realise Concert Square is where all the clubs and bars are. The music played loudly both nights until 6 a.m.

The house looked and was exactly as described the information on how to enter the property was accurate so the communication was good it was a clean property and had everything you needed so I highly recommend it

Was quite central<br/><br/>Apartment was up 5 flights of stairs no lift so was hard work carrying suitcase up and down very poorly lit my friend actually fell down 1 flight of stairs as we were leaving with her suitcase,the front door was very hard to open and close as it seemed to expanded and was to big for frame, no heating in 2 bedrooms didn't get heaters till last day,freezer was just a big block of ice so couldn't use,as apartment was above a few nightclubs and bars music didn't stop till 6am.

Very central<br/><br/>The apartment was not vacuumed before it was washed over with lots of a mixture of chlorine and floral scent. This air lingered in the apartment, even though we aired it out vigorously. It is definitely not healthy to inhale. <br/> <br/>The oven, fridge and stove were filthy. The things in the kitchen cupboards were probably washed, but definitely not clean. We didn't want to use any of this. <br/> <br/>The housekeeper/manager was flabby when he came to clean the oven - said he was actually on his way out for dinner....as if we should thank him for following up on work. <br/> <br/>The young girls, who he said were new, had not done their job properly - his wife usually cleans, but was sick.... unnecessary information - they have to follow up that the cleaning is done properly. <br/> <br/>We had to leave the apartment a day earlier, as we hadn't slept for 2 nights due to the noise - very loud music - bass banging all night until 6 in the morning followed by cleaning in the streets with high pressure washers. <br/> <br/>We receive no compensation at all - not at all right. <br/> <br/>It should be written on booking.com - that the apartment is only for rent to young people who themselves want to be at the clubs in the area, and therefore sleep during the day.

The location is right in the middle of the pubs and clubs and is just a 5 minute walk from the train station. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and would definitely book again.

De bedden zijn prima.<br/><br/>De locatie is vies en verouderd en heel erg toe aan een opknapbeurt. De stukken stuc van het plafond vielen naar beneden, tegels in de badkamer zijn stuk, er zit een heel knullig slotje op de deur. Verder vonden we nog lachgaspatronen en nepnagels onder de vloer, waren het bestek en de glazen onbruikbaar omdat het zo vies was en zit de locatie in een trappenhuis met muizenvallen, vieze vlekken op de vloerbedekking en in een portiektje dat wordt onder geplast/gekotst door uitgaand publiek. Let op: de locatie zit echt midden in het uitgaansgebied van Liverpool met openingstijden tot 04:00u en het is enkelglas.. met oordoppen slapen is dus een must!

The advert specifies “head to the four tranquil bedrooms for a great night sleep” however this apartment is directly across from Level nightclub and all bedrooms have thin single pains which meant that you can hear every single noise including all of the conversations happening in the street until the clubs shut at 4:30am including thumping music and the bin men at 6am! Very little sleep was had ny anyone. The Building has no lift and very steep dirty communal stairs. This should be advertised as it caused considerable mobility issues. The wifi didnt work for the duration of our stay despite assurances that it does work as this was a direct request based on an integral hen party activity, this also meant there wasnt a working tv for the whole weekend. <br/>The tv was also difficult to use as it kept freezing. <br/>The maintenance man came out to look at it and despite the fact he told us it was reported 4 weeks prior, it still hadnt been fixed and the owner claimed this was a new external fault. <br/>When some form of compensation was requested we were simply sent a formal complaints link. <br/>The heating didnt work in two rooms and still didnt even after the maintenance man came . The windows were extremely stiff so after 3 days of condensation we all left with a heavy chest and cough<br/>Which is a health hazard. <br/>Bathroom floor tiles were broken causing discomfort during the night. Ensuite shower is ridiculously tiny! <br/>This was also not advertised. A sliding wardrobe in a front bedroom didnt slide open as it was broken rendering it useless. <br/>The keysafe code we were given had an “A” in it but the keysafe is numerical only. The photos must be old ones because the two tables have damage to them, the laminate has damage and paintwork in the hall was scuffed. This place would only be good for 18-20s who want to club and be out of the apartment from 9pm-6am and sleep in the day as it is ideally located for bars, food, shops and docks. Nit rest assured that this is NOT somewhere for a family or anyone<br/>Who wishes to sleep at a normal time

We stayed here whilst going to the Creamfields festival. It was comfortable but so noisy, there are two nightclubs opposite booming music out until 4-6am! Take ear plus

I didn't get a chance to stay in the apartment because it was not clean on arrival<br/><br/>Upon arrival the apartment was left completely unclean with various things left around the apartment and there was also a giant leak coming from the ceiling completely flooding the kitchen floor was a real shame because from the pictures it looked like a decent apartment

property was perfect location, furnished with everything you needed. was like a home away from home.<br/><br/>There wasn’t anything we disliked, but it is located over the road from a club so if you were looking for a quiet trip away it may not be ideal. however, it was perfect for us.

It was so central to everything a 5 minute walk to the cavern and a stone throw away from the square would definitely recommend it to others.<br/><br/>Only problem was the apartment was above and across the road from two night clubs so was loud outside at night. However if your a group out partying with everyone else this won't really affect you! Also their is a few flights of stairs to walk up to get to the apartment so I would say it isn't suitable if there is someone in your group who struggles with walking or breathing.

A perfect stay close to the Liverpool nightlife!

Great location good price and a very clean and lovely apartment

Great location for a weekend with friends. Easy to communicate with the host. Did not get hot water in the shower when we arrived but the host got hold of the maintenance team who fixed this. However, we were not able to adjust the heating in the apartment so it was quite cold during the entire stay. Overall happy with the stay, the pictures are accurate to what it looks like irl.

Host and Stay were helpful and easy to deal with. Positives of the apartment - it is clean and well decorated flat with comfy beds. <br/>However note the location is actually on Fleet St directly opposite and above 2 nightclubs so be aware there will be very loud music and noise of people partying until 6am.
